Orchard Diary 07/11/2012: Surround & Fertrell foliar feeding

I double-coated my trees with Surround (kaolin clay) blended with a foliar feeding solution made with fish and kelp. Looks great and smells lovely!

Unfortunately if your tree gets septoria or botryosphaeria the fungicides can't enter the barrier of kaolin.

Doesn't the coating interfere with photosynthesis?

Yes it does. 100% certain. Depends on how much you apply.
