Good morning Jennifer! Great yarn haul. Very pretty. I have wrote down in a notebook all my yarn and material I have and prices I paid so my husband and kids know in case something should happen. Great advice! Thankyou for a great video.
Hell yeah! Im a native born Texan and VERY Texas-proud! When Texas became part of the United States in 1845, part of our requirements was that the Texas flag woukd fly at the same height as the U. S. flag, when flown on its own flag pole. Texas was its own country and we still say "Texas, its a whole other country!" God Bless Texas!!😂❤️❤
Awesome score! Makes me wish I lived closer to you. All of the yarns in the hanks go well together and I love how you put them together!!! Have fun with your bonus buys!!!
When you were talking about wills that gave me an idea I never thought of is that I am going to leave my yarn in my will to give to certain folks and I have donated yarn before to the Nursing homes for the elders to use. Thanks for the idea.
I thought I would tell you I am being drawn to wanting to make sweaters, tops, etc and creators you have led me toward. Girl! I am going to be doing Cinnamon type projects over the next year I know!!
I’ve never used Koigu but mad tosh and malabrigo are yummy. Thank you for your videos. I’m kicked back in bed with head up coffee and my crochet watching you this am. It’s a down day for this tired nurse lol
I agree about families donating/throwing out yarns, sell it. I went to a big yarn sale after a wonderful local woman passed away. She had totes upon totes of expensive brands oh high quality yarns and they sold them for $5 a hank. I even got an older but better made Addi machine for $100. I was so sad when the family told me they threw out all the vintage crochet & knitting books because someone told them they weren’t of value. I would have totally taken all of them.
How dare that women criticizing you for buying yarn etc. It’s your business how you spend your money after you take care of your other expenses in your household. Your channel is the first one I look at in the mornings while having my coffee.
Holy crap. I spent an embarrassing amount of money on three skeins of Madeleine Tosh. But it still evened out to 20/skein with tax &shipping on eBay Wow. That’s amazing. That commenter about giveaways. Wow. Audacity much? Until I wandered into the fiber, crochet community and never even heard of giving anything away. That is just ridiculous and not necessary and I think people don’t need to even do it.
You're right about the Texas thing! Come to Texas and we'll make you an honorary Yellow Rose of Texas! The reason you like the Lorna's Lace yarn so much is it's from Michigan.
Great, find on those high-end yarns Madeleine Tosh. I don't even think I have any koigu. Malabrigo is my guilty pleasure? Definitely smell the yarn. I am so hesitant to buy from thrift stores because I'm allergic to cigarettes and cats. I inherited some of my aunt's red heart yarn. When she passed she had cats and was a smoker. I put it outside for a long time to air it out. I might still give it away. It's been years. Don't know and I have plenty of other yarn, but good advice. How to clean yarn? That's come from the houses of smokers. I might try that .
I told my son to get someone who does estate sales and have them sell my craft supplies when I am no longer here. The professionals will research the value, and price accordingly. Yes, they will take a share of the proceeds, but at least they have an interest in getting the best price.
The thought of my yarn getting donated to a charity store and having a fellow yarnee be so excited to find it makes me smile so I'm ok with that.... but... my 3 daughters are all yarnees so it likely will be used by them.
I loved when you were talking about Texas and you are right about everything Texas. We are going to Fort Worth in March for a National Steak cooking competition. Folks from all over the country come and compete. It’s a good time. We will actually be in the Texas Motor speedway a NASCAR racetrack but no race that week. That Americana color would make a good hat.
I am always entertained by your videos. I would never expect you to do a giveaway. You give so much of yourself already. And yes...YARN. the drama doesn't matter.
Good Morning Jen 🤗 You got some great yarn 🧶 wish I had more thrift stores like St.Vincent De Paul. But I have a Goodwill that has yarn every once and awhile. Have d great day🥰
So glad you have loved ones that support you. Sadie is so beautiful. Pretty yarn. If you don't mind. What is the shampoo? I have very fine hair and being 70 plus I'm losing hair.
I grew up thrift, church basement, estate close out, trash pickin best neighborhood 😉...when I die if there's anything left...give it all away 😊 Peace ✌️ ☮️ 🕊
So happy that you were able to get some very nice yarn and those boxes too. Wow , what a great deal ob that dress. Wishing you a wonderful blessed day/night 🙏🏻💖🤗
Hey there Jen Boy o boy that woman had some brass one didn't she!! I'm guessing "stst" is stockinette stitch. I have already told my daughter that she is to research my craft stuff and Not to sell my craft tools at yard sale prices! I said I will come back and haunt you! LOL
@ I’m always broke but I could never pass up such great yarn and soon you’ll be moving so yeah it’s time to give it a rest. I wish I was moving but my husband is rich in name only!
ST ST is probably stockinette stitch. Why do unpleasant people have to spread the unpleasantness around to others. I don't understand. They should keep all that to themselves. I hope you have a fantastic end to your week. Yes! I tell my kids all the time. I have a lot of discontinued yarns that are worth more than I paid for them because they don't make them any more.
Gurrrrrlll, you slayed that deal!!! I would love to know how much you think that yarn was worth versus how much you paid! If you already said it, I apologize! See you in the next!
You are awsome because of you im designing my duster I couldn't find a pattern so with your help I'm designing my own your videos showed me how to do it
Delighted you got such great deals! Some of the new yarn will go beautifully with the ones you got recently. St st is stocking stitch, one row knit, one row purl. Maybe the brim is a roll brim which is so cute on littlies 😊😊
Jennifer, you always put a smile on my face when you get totally excited about your yarn finds. Thank you so much. 🥰🇨🇦😉
Jennifer! That is someone's entire yarn stash! I hope it all goes to loving homes where people will make lovely things for friends and family.
Good morning Jennifer! Great yarn haul. Very pretty. I have wrote down in a notebook all my yarn and material I have and prices I paid so my husband and kids know in case something should happen. Great advice! Thankyou for a great video.
Beautiful find! St st is stockinette stitch

Jennifer, I can hardly wait to see all you make with those beautiful yarns! Your possible color combinations are to die for!

My best yarn thrift deal was a local church thrift store I got 2 full hanks of noro for $1 total! I was in shock
What in the world is wrong with some people??
You may not work with solids, but you do mix them in with other colors to help show them off!!
Colorful projects in Cinnamon stitchesland!!
I thought I would tell you I am being drawn to wanting to make sweaters, tops, etc and creators you have led me toward. Girl! I am going to be doing Cinnamon type projects over the next year I know!!
I can’t be around cigarettes because of bad allergies. My hubby has to go outside to smoke. I got him to quit twice in 45 years that way!
I’ve never used Koigu but mad tosh and malabrigo are yummy. Thank you for your videos. I’m kicked back in bed with head up coffee and my crochet watching you this am. It’s a down day for this tired nurse lol
Thanks for sharing your thrift store goodies. Beautiful yarns at good prices. Score!
Wonderful yarn haul! You did great!❤🧶

That caked up red white and blue is so pretty. I love Lorna’s Laces. I’ve got some in my stash.
Hi, Great buys! Thanks for sharing your finds with us. 🧶🫂
I told my son to get someone who does estate sales and have them sell my craft supplies when I am no longer here. The professionals will research the value, and price accordingly. Yes, they will take a share of the proceeds, but at least they have an interest in getting the best price.
I believe “ st st” stands for stockinette stitch. Love the yarn you got.
The thought of my yarn getting donated to a charity store and having a fellow yarnee be so excited to find it makes me smile so I'm ok with that.... but... my 3 daughters are all yarnees so it likely will be used by them.

St St is stocking stitch. One row is knit the next row is purl. 🙂
In the round it’s stocking stitch, knit every row.
That Austin, yarn is very expensive at regular price in the store! Not too far from me
Let's take a vote ...
Who votes that if you buy yarn at a thrift store, it doesn't count?!!
Please heart pattern for your granny square blanket
st st = stockinette stitch. At least in my brain! 😂😂😂. Hope that's correct!! Love your yarns!!!
So glad you have loved ones that support you. Sadie is so beautiful. Pretty yarn. If you don't mind. What is the shampoo? I have very fine hair and being 70 plus I'm losing hair.
