Yunnan 2023 | Day 3 | Cangshan Cableway | Xizhou & Dali Old Town | 苍山索道 | 喜洲古镇 | 夜游大理古城

Our third day in Yunnan and we are going to keep exploring around Dali, but with our friends, Steph and Jeremy In the morning. We enjoyed some nice hotel breakfast which of course, rice noodles again... yum!
We then got onto the hotel transfer bus and arrived the bottom of Cangshan, which is one of the UNESCO Global Geoparks and one easiest way to go up is to catch the cableway. Have to say, there are some stunning views up there.
We then explored around Cangshan in the Yudai Yunyou Road of Cangshan (Jade Belt Cloud Road) Scenic Area once we got up and spent some great time there overlooks lake Erhai and the ancient city itself.
We then got hungry and of course had to eat a nice lunch. We then enjoyed a nice spicy flame hot pot with fresh beef. After hotpot, we went back to the hotel and rested before we off to Xizhou & Dali Old Town for a night adventure.

Hi , we were there around March and some hotels offer free / paid transfer to certain locations but we also did have a hired car.

Hi David. Thank you for your support! The hotel is called Fanju Yunshe Shanju Panorama Hotel 大理梵居•雲舍山宿
全景酒店 near the Dali Old Town. From memory, the transfer is around ¥50 per person between Cangshan and the hotel then they also offer free drop offs and pick ups in the nearby locations after Cangshen so you can explore more of Dali. Please feel free to check out our other Dali videos as well.
