Anime: Fate/Zero
Music: "Trouble" by Coldplay
Lancer was my favorite Fate/Zero character. His story was so sad because he was so honorable, honest, and loyal, and yet he suffered more than anyone else, not through any fault of his own, but because the people around him used him to their own ends. I emphasized his connection with Saber because she was the only one who showed him the same honor and loyalty he showed her. I was trying to find a song for him for a few days, and when I heard "Trouble," I couldn't help feeling it perfectly described his situation. My editing program did something weird that makes it kind of pixely in places, but I hope that doesn't take too much away from the video. I don't mind it much because I made this video mostly for my own sake - I'm sure many of you understand the feeling of wanting more time with a character who has died. Still, I hope that you all enjoy watching it.

Congratulations! The fact is that there are too few Diarmuid amvs.
It truly shows that you put a great deal of time and effort into this because when it comes to footage and music synch, this is easily among the top 5 amvs i have seen.
You have more than deserved yourself a new sub. I'll probably try to do an amv or two myself once exams have blown over.

believe me, i'll need the luck. i want to make a Tiki mikk one, as well as an Fate Stay night archer and Gilgamesh, but i dont think there is enough footage yet, so i'll wait until the new remake of it has ended

I love this amv so much, it's just perfect. Diarmuid was my favourite in Fate Zero and he really didn't deserve that kind of death. He was so brave and loyal and he got just betrayal in return. That's so not fair for such a knight. I just love this character, both lancers were completely awesome.

Diarmuid such a tragedy, an honored knight does die, through machinations not his own, but by those who cast their eyes, away from truth and loyalty, and honor lies untarnished, fair diarmuid has earned his rest, away, alone in solitude

He was my fav chrt on entire fate series. Just one of those chrt that are to good to be left alive in their world so it's better to killthem and make fandom sad 😭😭 wuch a great amv lysm and this masterpiece! ❤❤❤

MeteorD Msyu I'll respect your opinion, but I didn't think so. I think he has the worst luck in the entire Fate franchise. I'm wondering why you don't like him?
Mary Tran Cu has the same luck end ends up dying in the same way, yet doesn't go out like a shitter. Also he's flat-out unlikeable and takes the honor thing too far. Worst Servant, especially for anyone who read Fate/stay night before reading Fate/Zero.
MeteorD Msyu Perhaps that's it. I watched Zero before anything in the Fate franchise. Personally, I don't mind his chivalry. He was a knight; you simply can't compare his honorable disposition to the modern world. Chivalry was an extremely important virtue for a knight and hero, and although naive--or better phrased, outdated--it made him a genuinely good person. I feel like he was given the shaft so many times during Zero. His master regards him as a back up plan (Kayneth wanted Iskandar), the same man accused him of seducing Sola-Ui and killing her, and the only happiness he had on the battlefield, the only wish he had, was taken from him. His death was brilliantly scripted and made one -*-feel-*- the pain and anger he had within him in that moment. It made him a complex, interesting character to see and he's one of my favorites. ^-^
MeteorD Msyu Funny I went through F/SN first then F/Z and loved/sympathized with Diarmuid to the point of further disliking Kiritsugu for what he did. As for comparing Cu and Diarmuid, one was given a bada** but unrealistic moment (Cu), while the other was realistic, dramatic, and emotionally packed with the betrayal he was feeling at the time (Diarmuid). Worst Servant imo goes to F/Z Caster who was a sick pr*ck that deserved to die.
