Your question is not quite clear I'll try to answer somehow. If you have a small website with not much content, it would be enough to start with 10 boards and try saving 3-5 pins linked to your website per day.

Hi Eve! I you have a brand new blog, you can start with just a 1-2 of pins a day linked to your own site because you don't have many posts yet you could link to without being repetitive. In the meantime, while you are creating content for your site, you should work on filling up your boards with repins from other accounts. You can link to podcasts and Instagram any to any page on the Internet really. But pins linked to your verified domain are always going to win in the amount of impressions and clicks.

I have a question- I just converted my personal account to business and have 1 board with 20 pins of my jewelry brand there, I'm planning to create a separate business accounts though. Should I Delete my board and create the same on my business account or Repin the pins from my personal account to business account? Also, is it ok to link my instagram URL or should it only be my website? I don't have one right now. Thank you! New follower :)
Hi! If your pins on the personal account had some decent amount of impressions and were linked to your website, don't delete them, just repin them to the new account and keep them on the old account, nothing will happen because of just 20 old pins. You will anyway have to create hundreds of new pins on the business account in the future. Don't link your Instagram URL, you can't verify it as your domain and it's never going to get as much traffic as pins linked to your website. Plus, why would you send users to Instagram and add extra clicks if you could send them directly to your website? You can totally create some pins linked to your Instagram page or even to specific posts on Insta if you want to but your verified site should be your shop.

It's easy to assume the user will receive a notification but I tested it between my accounts for two different blogs, and who gets the notification is the original user who created that pin in the first place, not the one who repinned it and then you repinned from him. 40k impressions is va very small amount to evaluate anything. Normally 1% clickthrough rate is a good one. For 1000 impressions you can expect about 10 clicks.

Over the years, as I was learning Pinterest and trying to make blogging my main income source, my blog became a playground for me to experiment with different niches which might work well on Pinterest. So I posted everything that was trending and could get good traction on Pinterest. That made my site a very broad lifestyle blog which is not quite obvious when you are on the homepage of my site or of my Pinterest profile. I highlight everywhere my Pinterest marketing and blogging tips. I wouldn't recommend anyone to build a mixed profile like this on purpose, it happened in my case because I didn't start this blog to teach about Pinterest. I decided to do it about 1.5 years later, when my blog was already quite big and I achieved some results for my own account that I could show to others as an example.
Last summer, my Pinterest account actually reached 49M monthly views, but this year the monthly views dropped to 5.8-6.8M monthly views and I just currently stuck at that monthly views range LOL

You need to have enough boards to cover all the topics or categories you have on your website. For some sites it can be 10 boards. For other sites it can be 50 boards or more. If you don't have a lot of pins yet, you are better off adding more pins to fewer boards. That being said, if you don't have any board relevant to a new topic you are going to cover on the site quite extensively, you should create a new board or a few boards for that topic.

40k impressions is va very small amount to evaluate anything. Normally 1% clickthrough rate is a good one. For 1000 impressions you can expect about 10 clicks.
