Making A Pinch Pot Bobblehead Part 3: Body Parts

This video was produced for ceramics 1 students at Anaheim High School. Part 1 focused on sketching some design options for the bobblehead. Part 2 focused on creating basic pinch pots for the body and head before adding design details. Part 3 focuses on creating additional parts like arms and legs and developing the details. Part 4 will focus on adding the final details and textures.
Total building time was about 75 minutes.
Ceramics 1 Criteria: Nodder
1. Bobble head should be 4-6” tall
2. 2 parts: body &, head
3. Sculpted features (ie. eyes, nose, mouth, hands, feet)
4. At least 2 developed textures (ie. hair, feathers, scales)
5. Chosen theme:
a. People
b. Animal
c. Creature
