Unmatched even until now. Not just a singer but an entertainer of extraordinary talent. There should be a museum where he can be remembered by future generations. A unique and irreplaceable Malaysian.
Sudirman was an artiste and I dare say legendary by Malaysian standards. Gone too soon but I don’t think he’s forgotten. I still dig up old videos of him every now and again from TH-cam. Ironically you don’t know how great an artiste is until you realize there’s no one now that is even half of what he was. Superb Showmanship brilliant talent.
I still remember the late Sudirman fondly espe. his abang beca balik kampung songs. His influence and impact on the music industry still unmatched till today.
The second Malaysian superstar rite after Tan sri P Ramlee .. Tan sri P Ramlee and Dato Sudirman both of them were pride of our beloved nation_semoga Allah ta'ala senantiasa mencucuri Rahmat keatas rohnya dan menempatkan di kalangan org2 yg beriman 🤲🏻🙏🏻
I have never forgotten him and think many Malaysians will never do that, I still listen to his songs regularly. I couldn't believe it's already 32 years. Seems like just yesterday.
He is a legend. I remember Sudirman, P Ramlee, Saloma and many more that I need to recall as it was 40 to 50years ago. When I was a young boy, I used to watch their singing and movies on black & white television that my late father bought for the family. God bless..
🙏 For many who knew Malaysian Superstar Singer / Actor Sudirman Arshad >>> He was like Malaysia's Michael Jackson from the 1980s to 1992! Sudirman's Balik Kampung & Punch Card songs are very iconic! 🙏 Sudirman is deeply missed until today , he was one of his kind & may Sudirman be blessed to a better world & realm ... 🕯🌷🌿🌏💜🕊🇲🇾
I remember him with love in my heart and a smile in my face. God Bless you Sudirman. Rest in Peace, becos we, the rakyat remember you..❤❤❤ 30 or more years since your passing yet NOBODY, has come up to your calibre....👍💖👍💖👍
A musical treasure we cherished, still cherish and will always cherish. Outstanding talent matched with a singular personality. Rest in Music, Sudirman 💜
In Malaysia there is no value of appreciation and a deep understanding of who is a true legendary icon and who is not at all an icon .everyone nowadays only admire icons abroad because those people admire theirs really well and has a deep symbol and memory of their great figures in their history, whereby our figures are just forgotten liked normal deceased people .
P.Ramlee death was the saddest..he got back stab by his own people which kind of ironic as it true when the peribahasa said Melayu makan Melayu. Such a legend but die in vain and alone.. Sudirman understand it well how his people will treat him.
Malaysia has become more religious. The religious political parties, the clerics don’t idolize entertainers. So how to set up museum. Sudirman, P. Ramlee, Saloma will be forgotten eternally. Ironically K-pop stars, US megastars, Chinese superstars dominate the scene.
I believe we are a society that does not value legacy and heritage. It is a ‘me’ society. We fail to appreciate, value and hold in remembrance the contributions of those who have gone before us. This sense of legacy and heritage needs to be nurtured from young.
eyy macha... you know Elvis, Beatles and even Michael Jackson, didn't have the government, or fans setting up museums and records of their achievements. All done by their loved ones and their managing teams okay? Don't ask the government for money to make you a little museum for your little star.. you're the one who suppose to do it. That being said, nobody actually forgotten about the man.. every damn Merdeka day, you'll hear his voice.. Go to a karaoke place and you'll hear old man try to sing one of his songs. One thing for sure...Time will definitely move on.. ask the young kids today, and they have no idea who Elvis is or any Beatles songs..
Alot of the older generations remember him (Sudirman). There were many others during his time - Sharifah Aini, Uji Rashid, Latif Ibrahim, Dahlan Zainuddin, Anita Sarawak etc.
Heartbreaking truth...the youth of today don't know who he was and the contributions he made to malay music industry. Sudirman did pronounce jalur gemilang and chow kit road like any Malaysians and not American accent though 😊
Many individuals from earlier generations are the only ones who remember him. I was actually born in the same year that he passed away, so I have limited personal knowledge about him beyond what my parents have shared with me about his heyday. I suspect that a similar situation may occur with Siti Nurhaliza as well.
It was not true. According to Sudirman's sister, someone used black magic on him until he died. If he died of AIDS, his body would not be released to his family. 😢
Betul jugak.. bila video ni mula teringat lagu2 Dia memang sedap.nak pergi cari lepas ni. lepas video tamat , .. rasa haiz.. rasa patut tribute yg betul. Yg ni boleh jugak tapi side content la

Sudirman always in our hearts in 80's

We remember him. The greatest showman in Malaysia
😢😢 😢 Definitely something should be done to pay tribute as a legacy for the outstanding work Sudirman had done ...
I still remember him and will never forget this mega Malaysian star.
He even beat the best singer from Hong Kong when HK was at its prime..
A singer that united all Malaysians...
Truly Anak Malaysia! Sudirman made us proud!
One of the very best artiste we have in Malaysia. We should have a concert or singing contest in his name.
A musical treasure we cherished, still cherish and will always cherish. Outstanding talent matched with a singular personality. Rest in Music, Sudirman 💜
But on every National Day, we still remember him “Tanggal 31. Bulan lapan, 57. Merdeka, merdeka…”
Thanks i love this song.
To know Malaysia is to love Malaysia......
Hujan, Nilai Cintamu, Joget Kenangan Manis, Warisan, Hari Itu Dalam Kenangan ... still listening to his songs
Nothing to fret. Life's such but not all is lost, we still treasure his songs till today ❤

Correction though.
People remembered P.Ramlee and Saloma.
Salute … 🫡🫡🫡
Terbaik!
We miss you Abang Sudir
Al fatihah untuk arwah sudirman
I remember him always. I still listen to his music. He and Noor Kumalasari is the only Malaysian singer that I love.

Well done FMT!

A good singer
In this present world many of us will die alone and abandoned.
I remember
Sad case.😢
Zaman saya sekolah rendah pernah minum air tin jenama sudir, rugi x simpan. Tiada penganti dia menyanyi seperti meratab
he would have been ban today in this country due to the religious enforcer
Remembered his soda drink brand
Taken too young. Otherwise he would have been the best muhibah ambassador. Should have balanced out, work and family life, such a precious soul.
kutty got it right. Melayu mudah lupa....
Whereas in the modern days, tis kenot tat kenot
Bintang RTM star. Kudaku Lari.....
The entertainment industry is full off cronyism
That is whay never waste your time trying to please people, its better to please God than any human who would later stab you in the back.
Mostly creative people are forgotten or never recognized.
Sudirman is a nationalist
Who remembers his face was printed on soda can?
Rumors said that he had aids, was this true? If yes then definitely the Freddie Mercury of Malaysia
It was not true. According to Sudirman's sister, someone used black magic on him until he died. If he died of AIDS, his body would not be released to his family. 😢
NO he did not have Aids.
@@izzy.i ok, what happened actually? His death wasn’t really detail actually
Kenapa bercerita mcm nak aibkan org yg dah takde... Yang dah lepas, lepaslah... Nak cerita pasal berhutang pulak....
Sudirman this, Sudirman that. You people only say that because of this vid.
Flamboyant. He would be perceived gay by today standard. LOL.
Sad really
Sad end
