This film (as well as pt 2 & 3) are ready to go for tomorrow❤❤❤ on a personal note..sorry about the loss of your friends. I too know what it's like to lose childhood friends at a young age, one killed by a drunk driver (my friend on her way to her first prom) and the other to cancer 😢😢😢😢
Not a fan of this first film, but I do see what they were trying to go for. I personally think that part 4 is the scariest of the series due to the fact that it is the most visceral and violent which I guess is something that gets to me personally. Although I wouldn't say I was scared, because I did get into horror films later in life, but there was something about the movie that makes me feel tense. Maybe it was that I have been in similar situations to those kids, and the fact that Jason is unstoppable adds to the atmosphere.
Thanks for watching. Such a great movie and what they achieved for a small production was incredible, so much talent. I'm a big fan of the series too, I really Like The Final Chapter, the characters were so quirky it really made them more relatable I think and made you care for them when they were in jeopardy. @@johnrenneysboneyardcinema part 4 was the first one I saw and the first “modern” horror as well. I think I was about 11 and my cousins brought their video recorder down as they were staying with us and that tape was in it. Absolutely terrifying lol and I lived right next to a very spooky wood which made it even better. We had a brilliant summer that year hen every sound might be Jason hahaha I miss being scared I think. Oh, excellent video by the way, I look forward to more from your channel!

My favourite horror. There is something special about the original and, for me, the first 7 sequels.
