wow , just wow .... i have been dreaming of a video like this for decades , the best doku about a fissure progression ever ... finally I see what laki would have been ... or multiplied many times the dekan traps good luck to all grindavikings with very best wishes from austria
We humans of the world have only touched the surface of the planet.,The world we live in is changing every day,To watch this amazing spectacular volcano eruption is something not many of us in our life time will ever see Thank you for sharing this live feed,,it's amazing stay safe with lov from Devon uk
Mother nature really does like to show off 😂 beautiful…. Scary! But beautiful. I’m so glad the Icelandic people are so well organised when it comes to living with these behemoths, unlike the current situation in Naples.
As fast as that fissure started erupting lava from the time it started gassing, a person could not run fast enough across the broken ground of the old lava flows to get away from “ground zero.”
I think there are quakes, cracking, fumes, and rumbling before the magma becomes lava, giving you time to clear out. I would be sure to go up wind the gasses are toxic. 😉👍🕊
@@DewottReborn Well, the surface of the previous eruption was probably cool enough to walk on. I visited the Kilauea/PuuO’O’ ocean entry area in 2016 and the 3-5 day old pahoehoe flows were solid, through things were still quite warm and red glow could be seen in shallow cracks in some areas. Walking was not that difficult. When we visited the Mauna Ulu eruption area from the early 1980’s the a’a flows were impossible to walk on, rough, jagged, glassy and unstable; some seemingly solid rock would break unexpectedly when you put your weight on it. We gave up and returned to “solid ground” after crossing only 10 meters of ground on the flow. This is the kind of surface that the Iceland lava flows presents, and it is impossible to maintain a slow walking pace, much less try to run.
Is there a camera controller? Why would there be a controller for what is essentially a remote camera on a mountain top that is intended to run around the clock? It's probably a glorified security camera with a fixed power so it can "see" a broader area of the likely eruption zone.
Amazing….. thank you for your service for the cameras.

Wow that looks bigger than the last one!
Frighteningly beautiful.
That "Wall" of fire is something
Tactical viking defense against invaders. It is from this wall of fire and the smoke, smoke grenades were invented.
@@skinneygonzales6988 😵💫So who are gonna pay the climate co2 taxes for this "pollution"?
@@tunktrnder9957 We are still to tax the fish-population, they're living here tax-free. Time to change that.
Wow, it happens so fast! Looking forward to seeing it tonight. BEAUTIFUL now, will be spectacular in the dark. So glad you caught the very start. 😉👍❤
Incredible how powerful our planet is.
And to think - this is really puny compared to even Iceland's 'small' surface area, much less the entire planet's.
our planet is massive, a purely chaotic chemestry, we are just hopeless life being that got lucky and soon will meet our fate
Don't mess with Mother Nature.
Truly amazing!!
Thanks!
its neat how the view of the new eruption looks right across the remains of some old eruption
How is that "neat".
Absolutely incredible!
Absolutely insane, the natural processes of Earth are so fascinating to watch.

No words but Awesome...
Seriously epic!
Très impressionnant!!!!
Pop goes the lava!
Incredible to see the land tearing open and lava fountains!
Pop??? how dumb.
mother nature is remodeling. amazing
"I really need a new floor here."
Nice to see the new dike forming in the distance and the old eroded dike in the foreground.
J’aurais trop voulu y être à ce moment 🌞. J’ai aussi une pensée pour les habitants de Grindavik. 🌞

Thank you. Amazing to have such a clear view of this event.

Wouldn't it still be too molten to even cross at this point?

Awesome. ❤
yes. Amazing. thank you for sharing this. wow
The little volcano that was turns out to just be a spot on the fissure path
Insanely beautiful ! What a crack...thanks for the video. Stay safe.
Thanks for the nice Video!
Looks unreal! Amazing.
I checked for us Americans, it is over 300 feet tall. The lava eruption.
Does anyone know the name of the birds seen at very beginning of video, before eruption ?
Fulmar
On some of the streams we could see that they're all nesting in those cliffs facing the camera :) They're lovely!
no one is watching the birds?
They are having panic attack right now
We were watching the birds on some of the live streams :)
I was
I thought it was a FPV wing at first seeing how fast it was soaring around.
C’est de toute beauté je me régale les yeux . Merci 🤩
I could watch those close-ups as a screen saver on my TV all day!
Was watching just before it started. Seemed like the area was moving like a trampoline...then SQUOOOOOOOOSH! It burst!
Mother Nature powerfully alive...stay safe everyone..and thank you :)
Crom, that is amazing…😳👍👍
But it's an Hour, and a HALF.
... must be a metric conversion 🤔
Before the eruption did anybody else notice the birds circling and landing on the rocks just above right of centre, and flying around at 6.00to 7.00
this is crazy thanks for streaming
Amazing❤
Wow
Iceland is a beautiful place ❤
Has it started again? And if so where?
Yes. It looks like it began at Sundhnúkar this time.
It’s said to be near the same place as last time - an Icelandic person 😂
Stunning !
What an amazing looking country, would love to get the hell out of the states and live there, volcanoes and all.
Wow!
How much pressure there must be underground is mindboggling as each new fissure opens with equal pressure !!!! 😮😮😱
Right around 2:30 it begins in the top left corner.
it began at 12 45 Iceland time
Извержение трещинного типа , красиво , но рядом лучше не ходить . Лава очень жидкая , вылетает как из фонтана .
So incredible to watch mother nature at work. Awesome power.
Wow ❤
That is how earth is making her new crost for our new promised planet. It's going to be fertile and beautiful. Thank you lovely planet earth 💖🙏
Imagine if in old days like Viking days their was a village around that area and you woke up to that bloody lava around you
Pretty lava flow!!
wall of lava looks like 500 meters tall is it?
Iceland likes it's volcanoes linear.
The colour is blood red.
The camera controller needs to learn about using intermediate distance settings in order to see closer while still maintaining perspective.

Its on automatic. There is a tour every so often. Mods can zoom and when Mr Afartv is available he controls the cam
@@charleshash4919This is the only 4K camera in Iceland and controlled by the owner when he wants to
Dangerous and beautiful
🙏
looks like the earth is bleeding
Mjög fallegt
As the earth heats...
The blood of the Earth is spilling out across Iceland ! 😢😢
進撃の巨人の地ならしって現実ならこんな感じで見えてそう。
Schade das es keinen Ton gibt...
The camera is too far away hear the sound If there was sound,we would hear wind
It's a fissure eruption by the look of it
The fire of God is still available
You can call it lava land now.
Holy shit

Wow. Imagine going about doing your own business, then this happens. :)
Surely those are the arabs as well😂😂😂😂
Terrible!
Epa better get out there and stop that pollution 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂maybe they can glue themselves to the lava😂😂😂😂😂😂😂🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
