Sukuna mentioned Mahoraga being able to see his cursed technique. Normally you CAN'T. The slashes are so fast that you can't actually see when they come out

It's a common trope in anime for characters to have a super op power only to be used as display for a much stronger character
It's because of the situations he was gonna use it in, man had no reason to be pulling out a world ender like Mahoraga except when he fought Sukuna

@@hrodebrtMegumi probably couldn't use his shikigami anymore, he fought 3 opponents before, used a domain which consumes ton of cursed energy(Mahito was shocked by that fact) and he was bleeding out. In Megumis eyes, Mahoraga was only supposed to kill him and Haruta, then disappear. He didn't expect Sukuna to show up and cause mayhem.
Note: Makora,Malevolent Kitchen Filet and Dissect are both correct as well. They can be translated like that too. Which actually is a theory of the fandom of Sukuna technique being kitchen based, with him being a cannibal and all. Putting that aside, I'm sad to know that this isn't near what the animators could have done with more time. Also I recommend everyone to check the manga version of this fight too. The anime unfortunately cut a lot of internal monologues of Sukuna thinking strategically how to deal with Makora.
I'm honestly impressed this WASN'T their best. But yeah pray for these animators

30 percent was an exaggeration, debunked, and the original tweet for it was deleted. Mappa employees are overworked don't get me wrong but the people talking about "30" percent are only in it for views and clout
The animator later corrected himself and clarified that he meant the vision they had for the episode was only 30% realized, not that the episode itself was only 30% completed.
I do think there's one bit that's unfinished in the episode though, and that's the part when the plane is falling from the sky.

Malevolent Kitchen might actually not be a meme, since there was this theory that Sukuna's moves are based on cooking. I'll leave the spoilers out of this one since the anime has shown plenty. Sukuna's technique is dismantle and cleave which in the manga showed 2 chef's knives when the narrator explained it. When Sukuna used DE against the finger-bearer in season 1 he said he wanted to cut him into 3 pieces, which is a reference to the Japanese fish cutting technique, Sanmai Oroshi, or three-piece cutting. So yeah, Sukuna cooks every time he fights, unironically.

Sure, the animators are basically slaves at this point, but season 1 and the first few episodes of this season were much much better than this. Also, every episode is here's this guy you know nothing about, fight him, you'll get a bit of his story as the fight goes, and he's gonna die at the end.
