slight suggestion Sam when bouncing with zephros, bounce the black feather whirlwind instead, it's a soft once per turn and you can get vata back to the field
I think he bounced Black Whirlwind back to hand so that he can activate it next turn without sending it to grave as part of the end cost of the effect.
So it seems this would be a situation where you consider if you need to keep black whirlwind for next turn, or if you opened another way to grab it, bounce black feather. Could come up as important!
@@__senjutsu so here's the thing, this is my argument for the deck.. we have decks in meta that can go on turn 0 full combo turn 0. and I do love the deck. the extension by bouncing black feather storm you special zephros, activate it again go into another synchro get vatu again. it's more extension at the end of the day. by turn 2 to 3 games are decided. the odds of opening a copy of black whirlwind and or simoon is high and something maybe both. you would have had so much advantage at this point that sending the normal black whirlwind shouldn't matter. if the opponent breaks your board you do have a chance to to come back with the original whirlwind, if they can break it

If you summon silverwind then black feater whirlwind triggers and you can summon the snowstrike. So its even 7 interruptions with 1 card. What an insane deck :D
Curious, why not run allure of darkness over the pot, since it relys on extra deck so much? May be beginner thinking there. Also, isnt there that Assault Blackwing that pops for each Blackwing? Seems a good consideration, but thats just me! Great updated line up!

Really want to try this, seems consistent and easy to play for people who don't play often. I'd still like for you to make a competitive timelord deck. I miss using them haha but they aren't good anymore.
Were they ever good? Im assuming in a older format they were? From early xyz to about a year ago I stopped playing so genuine question were timelords ever good.
The raidraptor phantom knight engines can provide a board of multiple negates, including dark requiem xyz dragon(3 monster effect negations in one turn), borreload savage dragon (one time all effect negate), red Archfiend dragon abyss ( one time on field all effect negation), full armor master, and black-winged assault dragon for burn and destruction, I believe there is also one Fog blade.
Doesn't the ascendant require two or more non Tuner Monsters? So how would you be able to summon It with twim Shadows since twin Shadows specifically requires you to use 2 Monsters while he requires in total at least 3?

I'll never forget how shocked I was when my friend used Blackwing SandleBoy(to lazy to look it up)to Bring out Armor Master and Armed Wing. Necro Summoning(Bringing out ED monsters using the GY as material) is my favorite Gimmicks in Yugioh.
Note to anyone watching this still: Definitely play double black winged assault dragon. You synchro summon the first one normally, putting the materials in your GY, and then you can instantly special summon the second one from your extra deck by banishing the same materials from your GY lmao
Bless the return of the crow Also that’s a cool matt and all but I’m gettin my baby birds custom sorry boys especially after seeing some of those card choices… Ok so with blackwings How they are I think Allure of darkness is just going to be a better draw option *and* more importantly easier for most people to get. A lot of these deck builds rely on really pricey cards and I get it’s meta but blackwings are a really good budget deck since most of their cards are either old or not too expensive. If you get a forbidden droplet or two from pulls that’s great feel free to add it but you don’t need to force a lot of them into this deck because of how flexible it is. The bystials are obviously a great choice however raid raptors also offer a better board build with their rank up quick play incase your opponent tries to get through your negates and manages to get one really big cool monster out. Gotta love the new support but it feels like there could be a few other blackwings at least side decked here (vayu as a dump is insanely good now) There are a lot better boards you can make with this deck (like ending with hot red, tower armor master, price card Borel savage, and two extra xsies cuts) all for the same price. It all depends on how you play but honestly I feel like this is *fAR* from the proclaimed “perfect” version.

@@xem2476 if that’s the case. Then cool. I never use Ascendant as he needed 2+ and only really got an effect that was useful when he was Synchro summoned. But if that ignores the summoning requirements and you get the bounce effect, nice 👍

You forgot, that Black Feather Wihrlwind Triggers also in the opponents turn. So Chinook comes back and gives you a second interruption.

Blackwing can have many different building, his version just doesn’t utilize gales and level 7 synchros.

In the combo it would have been better to bounce the black feather whirlwind with zephyros and use it a second time in the same turn.
But you get 1000 burn and lose original black whirlwind during the end phase, it’s either get 2 effects off black feather whirlwind, or keep the original whirlwind for next turn use and protects you from 1000 burn.

Kinda, you perform Simoon’s normal summon via its own effect, so the normal summon doesn’t count towards your usual once per turn normal summon.

If you want to stick to field spells you could use the Gate Guardian field spell, otherwise I’d replace with Gale the whirlwind

Simoon normal summons itself by effect, just like every Floowandereeze does. Then you have the turn normal summon

The trap says you only need 1 tuner/non-tuner it ignores the exact summoning requirements of whatever synchro you're trying to summon with it
