Man I've been praying for for this reaction. Slaughter is my favorite metal band, and especially their newest song "Viking" is one of, if not their heaviest ones yet. Alex Terrible (the vocalist) is a fucking beast! Awesome reaction man!

btw, fun fact: Alex Terrible, the singer with the absolute demon voice actually has the skill and talent to make that "DEMOLISHER" scream before the breakdown loud enough WITHOUT the microphone. That's why he shushes the crowd before he starts speaking russian. He is absolutely insane and I love him!

The best first song to react to STP!!!
The best thing about listening to STP live is that there are parts where Alex doesn't use a mic and he just projects as it's loud and echos. Like the Demolisher part is no mick and all projection. Got to see them back in November and it was an amazing experience.
Alex's voice is seriously like this live too. He spent so many years training his voice to be the best in the business. So he actually is human. It took him a long time to sound like a hell spawn demon at that caliber 😂😂. Great reaction man. As always, I love the lyrical breakdowns you do.
I’ve seen Alex live 1 time his voice is something unreal when he does the super deep vocals he’ll make the crowd quite and I don’t care how far away you are you hear him clear as day his range is godly 10/10 if you get the chance to see him and the band do it also Alex and the band are all super friendly and love to interact with fans

The whole band is fucking top shelf. Alex Terrible is hands down one of the best vocalists in metal but the rest of the band (especially their drummer, Evgeny Novikov) deserves just as many props as Alex. Their track ‘1984’ would be a phenomenal follow up to this one!

Personally I don’t think these songs need lyrical breakdowns because it’s more about the energy of it. Plus that breakdown at the end ☠️☠️☠️
I still think the lyrics are an Important part of deathcore, especially when the song actually has some sick lines

Alex Terrible is legitimately one of the BEST Deathcore vocalists. His growls are literally the voice of the Devil and he can scream the lyrics so precisely.

You should absolutely do more STP. The list for that (in the order I think would be best):
Baba Yaga (Fair warning, almost half this song is in Russian, but the lyrics are mostly about Russian gangs)
Agony
Bonebreaker
Viking (There's a live video AND a one-take for that where he does it live on-camera in his home studio)
Alex also does some stuff on his own, and he's covered two DOOM songs: ('BFG Division' and 'The Only Thing They Fear is You'), and has started a solo side project while STP works on their new album where he wants to do a DOOM-inspired album. The first single 'Doom Slayer' has released and is also worth a listen. It's unclear if he'll get to do that album with Mick Gordon or not, seeing as Mick has a prior engagement that might cause that album to not drop until late next year if they wait until he's ready.

You mentioned the mosh pit during this song. Slaughter played at Inkcarceration Festival this year. There is a page on here called American Mosh Pits. They have like 4 videos of the mosh pit during Slaughter's set. Unfortunately, there is not one for this song but the other videos are just as awesome.
They just came out with a new song about a month ago called Viking, it's sooo good, probably my favourite of theirs, would love to see a reaction to it 😃

Bruh. HOW can you understand them soo clearly soo quickly?! That's a skill that usually takes people A LOT longer than you've been listening to metal. That's super impressive. I'm gunna go back to requesting Protest The Hero: Underbite. The message of that song is genuinely soo good. And while the vocals aren't quite as intense the musicianship is still absolutely S tier.
