“Do you hit more shots to the right? Or, do you hit more shots to the left?” Yes and yes. 😂 Thank you Rob for the great introduction to this training aid, which I just purchased after watching this video. My path is consistently in-to-out, but my club face at impact is all over the place. Looking forward to seeing if I can gain more confidence and consistency with the help of this training aid in conjunction with your video tutorial.
I have learned so much from your instruction. My game is a 7 handicap after being 14. Thank you for this great wisdom for the golf swing. Why are all my favorite teachers doing informercials? I watch your lessons because of the truth and explanation not for buying training aids. Please understand that am very appreciative you and your youtube channel. I am excepting the stack and tilt swing 100%.
It helps to support the channel in a small way and I only endorse things that I feel are helpful. You may notice that the YT content that has helped you is free of charge. I could put all the video content behind a paywall, but I want as many people as possible to have access to it.
Great drill. The other thing I've added to my pre-shot routine is to use my left eye next to my left shoulder and look down my left arm and line up my shoulder elbow wrist, and club face. It ensures I have the same relationship every time. Intitially, I did it to help with club face orientation.
I'm working on my chipping a lot now & this hanger drill is a great idea. My shots go left most of the time meaning I'm closing the club face. I'm going to give this a try & see where it goes.
HI Rob, Hope all is well., and you are still wordling. I have 2 questions: which position should the club face be in at the end of the first drill, and, can the drill also be used for driver. Cheers, Russ
rob, one of the suggestio s when taking a stance is to flair the feet out. i noticed that when you are just standing that your feet are always flared out. is this your normal standing position or is it something worked on to help you automatically help your stance?
3 years on this swing and I can shoot 78, and three days later 90, I am wondering if I am wasting time, but I have a question on setup, should your shoulders be lever or tilted because one hand is lower on the club?

Sounds like a great plan - keep me updated on your progress! 👍🏻

@@robcheneygolf1 I am thankful for your kindness and generosity. You and Saguto have made me a better golfer!
@@DrPapa14 that’s great to hear! 👍🏻

This progression is also a great way to warm up before a round and calibrate your swing for the day 💯
Very true!

Appreciate you and your videos Rob!
Very kind, thank you! 🙏🏻
You're the best man, thank you.
You're welcome!
That is an interesting training aid. Would likely help my wicked slice.
It’s very helpful and super simple to use! 👍🏻
How would you modify the hanger drill (if at all) if your "bad" iron shots are hooks?
I ordered 😊 when my ball starts right it slices going short and when it starts left it hooks which goes long.
Hope it helps you, Gavin! 👍🏻

I've watched enough of his videos to know he actually has done a video explaining why he flairs his feet. Simply it helps with rotation.
Is there anyone in the uk that stocks these hangers as the website wants £36 to deliver it from the USA?

Tilted slightly
Drill?
You don't have to square the clubface, the clubface squares itself (Tom Tomasello & Lee Deitrick / Chapter 1 5 50)
