They only had Ash catch him because they wanted to make an episode involving fighting types. But Ash didn't have one so they made "Primeape Goes Bananas" as a filler episode before they made "The Punchy Pokémon" and let that trainer take Primeape because they don't need him anymore

It should say Journeys instead of Galar, because Ash never did a proper Journey through Galar and did the Gym Challenge. Which is really sad, because we didn't get to see the Region properly in the Anime like all the other Regions

I wasn’t a big fan of Ash’a Pokémon team in Hoenn and Kalos. If I liked the teams he formed during the battle frontier, the Sinnoh league championship, and the Unova series. As for Ash’s companionships my all time favorite was the Kalos team. For Ash personalities it’s Sinnoh Ash and Ash from Kalos to galar.
