Sooty's Magic Show is performed in Sooty's Big Top Showtime theatre at Crealy Theme Park & Resort at 1.30pm and 3.30pm. Check the Crealy Theme Park Website on the day of your visit as times may vary. Sooty also makes an appearance on the Sooty's Stage in The Prier area of Sooty Land
Sooty is a British children's television media franchise created by Harry Corbett. Sooty remained with Harry Corbett until his retirement in 1976, when he was passed to his son Matthew Corbett. When Matthew retired in 1998, he handed control of Sooty to Richard Cadell, a fan of Sooty and a skilled magician. In 2022, Cadell Limited the now owner of Sooty, signed a deal to open a Sooty Land in Crealy Theme Park and the Sooty Show has been running there ever since with special theme shows such as Sooty's Halloween Show.
Richard Cadell also makes appearances at Crealy Theme Park & Resort on occasion.
Crealy Theme Park is currently hosting the UK's only High Dive show and the tallest high dive in Europe which has 2 shows a day (except Sundays) throughout the summer holidays. the Captain Crealy Walks the Plank High Dive Show is included with the entrance fee.
During the summer Crealy Theme Park is also offering a 2nd day free for visits between 20th July and 1st September, check the Crealy website for more details.
Crealy Theme Park & Resort, previously known as Crealy Adventure Park & Resort, is the largest Theme Park in Devon that boasts over 60 rides and attractions, with spectacular entertainment, live shows and a zoo. Crealy Theme Park & Resort has been voted as the best day out in Devon for eight years running.
There are two coasters at Crealy Theme Park, the Twister rollercoaster and Maximus rollercoaster as well as a Log Flume and Driving School with plenty of themed kids play areas including Fort Crealy and Pirate's Revenge as well as a huge Adventure Zone soft play area.
The Crealy Theme Park opened in 1989 and is operated by Maximum Fun Devon Limited. In 2022, the park announced the opening of a brand new themed area called Sooty Land based on the popular TV character, containing 4 rides, themed attractions and live shows. Sooty Land opened on the 28th of May 2022 with the rides Sooty's Magic Bus, Sweep's Flying Circus, Soo's Sweet Balloon Ride and Izzy Wizzy Lets Get Dizzy.
