I'm pretty sure Bissel says to deep clean carpets, use the steam function as a pre-treat, go over the whole area with just steam/steam and cleaner solution spraying, leave it for like 20 minutes and then go over the whole area with steam and carpet solution spraying. I would LOOOVE to see a video of you cleaning a carpet with this machine using that method, I really think this cleaner is the future of carpet cleaners. I'd love to see the carpet get a good thorough vacuuming, then watch this thing work its magic, that'd be awesome. PS This one was a great vid as always!
Doesn't steaming actually SET some stains? I have the Big Green machine for 6 yrs and I love it.. this machine is like 30-50 dollars less, so it wouldn't make sense to buy for that reason. The BG has added weight up front to help draw water out carpet better too. Still, it's nice to have the steaming function in this model to help sanitize areas.
Bissell and Hoover have always been the big players in carpet cleaning machines and over the years, I've had both. I think Bissell is far superior to Hoover. But, I recently got the Bissell TurboClean Dual Pro Pet one, and now this awesome one comes out 🤦🏼♀️ If only I'd have waited a little longer. This is one awesome machine!
If you recovery tank foams too much add about. Teaspoon of table salt and that breaks the foam up and you should be able to get more water in there tank before it needs to be empty.
I used to have the pet pro revolution 2x and it broke down about 2 years ago and never replaced it,i saw this and was like UH OHHHH bissell coming through with another banger lol😅😮❤. Price is much cheaper than you would think
@@VacMaster1991 Thanks for your video review, it's amazing explained. I have one question. How many hours does carpet take to dry after using this machine ?
If you want to rinse of the shampoo from your rugs, I suppose you need to go over the whole thing again without having added shampoo to the water-tank.
I have a question for you. I had a Revolution 2X Pet Pro (non steam version). I had to lift the back up slightly to get it to pick up all of the fluid. Doing that would make the nozzle dig into the carpet a little more deeply. Have you compared these machines? Do you think the HydroSteam has this same issue or do you think it picks up much better than the previous Revolution 2X Pet Pro? How do you think it compares in wet pickup to the Bissell Big Green? That is what I currently have, but I’d like a secondary machine to pair with it for rinsing, or using different types of chemicals.
Is there water drips under the carpet? If you have a wooden floor, would you need to put a protector between the carpet and the floor so the wooden floor doesn’t get damaged?
Keep Up The Great Work!!! I just bought the Bissell Pro Heat 2X Revolution Pet Pro Plus- I did not open it! Is this machine better? The quality looks solid! Your thoughts? Thank youn greatly in advance.
the first thing I do when I see a cool carpet cleaner like this is "what can go wrong?" My first immediate thought is using tap water in anything that heats water... kettles, Keurig, Irons, etc. They need to be periodically descaled... and I think it would be even worse since you're heating solution in addition to tap water...I wonder what their method is for descaling?
@@VacMaster1991 I remember it was a problem with their proheats (the ones that actually had a heater) they would stop spraying and when handy people took them apart the heater was a mess caked with minerals...
Those *passes* drives me absolutely nuts when you can literally see the stain coming up and anyone doing this would simply just hold the machine over it until it is fully lifted and removed instead of wasting physical energy pushing and pulling this thing backwards and forwards over it. Why does everyone do this same thing like its a vacuum cleaner vs a carpet cleaner...ordered my Hydrosteam from eBay yesterday (May 30th 2024) for $299. Can hardly wait until it comes to clean the only carpeted space in my place (bedroom) to do the job my $99 cheap Hoover carpet cleaner can't.
@@VacMaster1991 I had no problems doing it with mine. I also didn't realize just how heavy this machine is compared to others I've used. When tackling a stain, I (ever so slowly) pull it back and see how it is coming up (through the panel) then push the machine forward for another pull back to see if it's completely lifted. I didn't mean to simply hold it there while the machine eats up the carpet but I don't do a full pass until I know I have gotten all of the stain completely up.

You can steam and carpet clean. Or steam before cleaning.
@@VacMaster1991you can steam first and carpet clean, bissell has a demonstration video on how to do it😊
can you send me bissells demonstration link pls@@JD-hk7oe

Big green is still the best carpet cleaner I've used
Mine came in yesterday. It got out stains that my old cleaner could not. It works.
Yes it does. I love it

Return it and get the hydrosteam

I use spa defoamer. It works great
I bought one here in NZ last week, NZ$1000 (US$610) still worth it. Only issue being the hand wand has no steam function. Still quite good.
Bruh. $610. It's $350-400 in the US.

I was honestly expecting Bissell to want more for it. Like 600
$999.00 in Australia! Talking about a rip off!
It's $400 us. So 600 aud.
I am so glad you did this video! ❤Amazing!
Glad you liked it!!
I love the hydro steam carpet cleaner honestly I kind of wish i had one.
Get one. They are $50 off at some places. I will be doing some more carpet cleaning videos on this machine

About 3 hours. Glad you liked my video

A while. Maybe 12 hours

I would put a protector.
Planing on getting the new little green hydrosteam?
Sometime yes

It's a great machine. The stream definitely helps remove stains. I really like mine
I have one. Worst carpets I've cleaned and it's doing wonders
This Bissell is great
Why didnt you use the steam function before you used the clean/steam function wouldn't that lift the stain better
I forgot

Not sure. Coffee maker descaler maybe? I'm sure Bissell thought of that before releasing this. It would be a big problem if not
@@VacMaster1991 I remember it was a problem with their proheats (the ones that actually had a heater) they would stop spraying and when handy people took them apart the heater was a mess caked with minerals...
A mild acid might work. I would be worried about that damaging the machine though. I would think coffee maker descaler would work wonders.
@@VacMaster1991 I don't think there's any getting around acids... I think coffee maker cleaner is mostly citric acid
A mild acid would work fine. Something too strong might be an issue
Does it get out Whiskey stains?
Not sure.
How long does it take the carpet to dry?
A long time. About 24 hours.
Can you use this on tile floors?
No. Only carpet

Leaving it in one spot can overheat the carpet and cause damage

Can take off nail polish off ?
Probably not. Goo gone or Acetone will work
3:00 it took all 3 out like nothing 😮💥😩
Yea. I was impressed. The steam is HOT. I touched the base and burned myself. That should remove nasty smells and dirt.
