The concept of seventeen mv is "The Truman Show" like escaping the life society made them believe they SHOULD live, and finding their own path
One of the many reasons why I love Seventeen so much is how beautiful their song lyrics are, and how much I can relate to them. Each and every line of this song hits me so hard
As other people have already mentioned, this mv is inspired by the movie “The Truman Show”. it’s a very popular movie, one of the classics. The mv (and the movie) has a very deep meaning behind it. You definitely should watch it, if you haven’t already!

Definitely my favorite song on the album theres such a huge huge huge meaning behind it.
It's kinda funny because I have watched reactions by people who have no clue about the Truman Show references, but they still understood some of the scenes and their connection to the message even without that knowledge. So yes, the scenes are really representative of the messages (ESPECIALLY if you are familiar with the movie) but even without it. IS there a Seventeen song you like? I know I've enjoyed some of your reactions in the past but I don't really get this reacting to SVT for the sake of reacting to SVT because there's a comeback and you're a kpop reactor if it's always going to be like this... I didn't feel like you were actually very invested in trying to understand the video or listen to musical or vocal elements in the song.
When a reactor looks at a song that isn't to their personal taste, I expect more from the reaction than twice through and a "not for me". Like, there has to be something that you listen to when you're listening to a song or something you notice when trying to see if you think a video is well made that is beyond your personal taste. Right? Otherwise it's just - "find out if I liked it", which is not so fun. And I know that I've watched reactions from you where you comment on production elements, on vocal qualities... but really nothing? This song has a lot of interesting and varied arrangement and production elements you could have at least mentioned or the vocals?

This music video is inspired by the movie "The truman show".. Seventeen creates music and concepts for people with brains, i catched the references on second watch lol
Maybe stop reacting to Seventeen if all you're going to say at the end is that you don't like it and you really have no interest in actually understanding what they put out. If you actually took the time to find out more about this song you'd be able to know that the mv is based heavily off of the Truman Show but I guess a quick swipe through the comments was too much work.

Hey come on carats! Let's not be like this. He didn't get the meaning and references of the song and MV, but it's understandable. It can happen. He has his opinions, taste and thoughts too, there's nothing wrong with expressing it publicly. But he has reacted many seventeen's songs, loved them, appreciated them, has actually understood the message conveyed. Sometimes it can happen too. Also it's rare too see such reactors actually telling what they actually felt without faking it.
I think why the cgi is not that clean/real bcs they have concept of the truman show that trapped in world that set just for him (like a studio). And in the end they can escape
There is rarely a song from SVT that really satisfy your taste, so far it just Hot, Super, (Hit and DWC but maybe)…. I can only assume that you are a picky listener …

come on if aaron dosent watch going seventeen he is REALLY missing out. i dont just stan seventeen for their music but for their humour. it is UNMATCHED. they are so entertaining and their whole going seventeen series very clearly shows it. i get that seventeen's music dosent suit aaron's taste but he should still check out going seventeen to really know how they are
The only upsetting thing for me is that you're literally one of my favorite reactors, I've been watching since you first decided to react to twice and ive continuously watched all of your reactions to twice, nct & dreamcatcher. Svt is obviously my ult group and i don't expect you to like every single song but the continuous dislike is gonna upset anyone. If you don't like what svt put out, which in my opinion are the most diverse & heart to heart music, you should not react further.
