Jen - Planning my hike for 2022. Can you tell me how you made it from the train station up to the border monument and did you get your permits before heading out to the border?

From the train station I got a hitch to get my permit. I then got a hitch back to town and took a shuttle to the border. There’s info on FarOut and on Reddit about people who provide rides to the border. It can change from year to year, but you should be able to find their phone numbers. Hope this helps!
