i have done the back up on my pc, it brings through all of my contacts but none of the conversations from my phone. how do i bring over all of the conversations?

I cannot sync my chats to my PC version of WeChat. If I have messages/chats on my PC WeChat and sync them to the phone that will overwrite the mismatched chat to my phone. So, what's the point of the backup exactly?

The backup seems to be somewhere on 'C:\Users\USERNAME\Documents\WeChat Files', but which file is the conversations and how to open it please?
You can't view those conversations separately from your device. The only way to see them is to restore them to a phone or tablet WeChat installation.
I do same, It back up partially. Some chat images & videos missed. Help Help 😢
