the song is about an actual dream she had where she died and nobody cared. at the time, she was very depressed so dying is actually what she means when she said she got everything she wanted. finneas thought that was too dark though so they put writing the song on hold and went back to it when she was in a better head space and decided to turn it into a song about how they are there for each other no matter what. the song also has to do with fame and how it’s not always as great as you’d think it is. the car makes more sense if you watch the music video.

@@TheCottons no problem 😊 and she has said multiple times over the past year or two that she’s the happiest she’s ever been. obviously depression can always creep back in though but she does seem to be in a good place.
you should react to more billie eilish she’s such a beautiful soul and finneas helps billie write songs,he produces her music, performs with her goes on tour with her, he’s an own artist himself and is a 8 time grammy winner, and he produces other artists music like justin bieber’s album that came out yesterday i think and does other work for some artists! (and billie is a 7 time grammy winner)

this song is about her having a dream that she killed herself by jumping off the golden gate bridge as it says in the song “thought i could fly so i stepped off the golden” and nobody caring or crying. and the corus “as long as im here no one can hurt you, dont want to lie here but you can learn to, if i could change the way that you see yourself, you wouldnt wonder why you hear they dont deserve you” was what finneas her brother said to her when she woke up from the dream. its a very deep song with so much meaning and in the end it says “ if i knew it all then would i do it again if they knew what they said would go straight to my head what would they say instead” meaning if she knew that fame was like this would she do it all again. and the dream was her dying, thats what she wanted. she wrote this song when she was very depressed and suicidal back in 2019.

Billie now is 19 her birthday is December 18th she released „Ocean eyes“ on sound cloud when she was only 13 and the MV to it when she just turned 14 and since then she’s just getting bigger and bigger

Billie never really tells a lot what the songs are about bc she wants to leave it open for everyone but to this she said that it’s about a nightmare she had where she jumped of the Golden and everyone just stared but didn’t care about her and also it’s kinda about the relationship with her brother

Billie’s brother Finneas has songs on TH-cam, check them out, they are fantastic.
Can you guys react to BTS? If you haven’t heard of them, they are a 7 member boy band from South Korea that were nominated and performed at the Grammy’s. Sadly they didn’t win (even though they clearly should’ve). They’re currently dominating the world right now, but I’m not going to get too far into it because this group has a lot of background information of how they started from nothing to legends. But, I want to recommend a song to react to DNA. They do have captions in their music videos so you can understand what they’re saying. But like I’ve said there’s so much information about the boys and I wouldn’t be able to share it all with you!!
