I make many south Indian dishes ,though I am not from the south. Appams would be great . The texture of the dosa is different . I make it on a non stick pan you got to have tiny holes it is fermented and thinner . Yours did not ferment and more like a crepe. I am a Mumbiakar and make a variety of dishes.
We are proud of our Indian daughter...u r keeping alive the Indian tradition of respecting ur elders, taking care of all ur family members and spreading love and care and keeping the family united
so your are proud of your daughter breaking culture and adding to another mans culture and prosperity. so your own man is deprived of the posibility of she could provide in value. maybe you lost a few cells in your brain. I am not going to attack this women, but do understand she failed her ethinicity and people.
What a beautiful, loving and classy couple--and surrounded by loving family members from the Nigerian and Indian sides. Watching your videos makes me so happy. Keep making the great videos and stay blessed.
Beautiful to see how we live world apart but share similarities in food wow! We also have sinasir (rice pancakes) and masa/waina in northern Nigeria which is made using fermented rice too. That tempering also applies to us, it’s almost impossible to not temper soups with either fried ghee or hot cayenne pepper ( yaji) or both. I’m amazed at the similarities though 😊
How lovely was this to watch, but oooh how beautiful it was to watch your son reach out to his great grandmother. In the Caribbean we say 'blood doesn't lose'. Children can feel the connection without truly understanding. I think you are an amazing family anyway. Much love coming from the UK❤
The important thing is all these things she's making is easy for digestion. Its a soft food and healthy also. You guys are lucky to have a Chennai girl.
So glad to have back its quiet a while since you last posted. Really missing all your vibes Fam. Sweet baby boy has grown. Stay blessed. Much Love from Tanzania Zanzibar the most with amazing beaches.
U r very strong women mentaly u took dicision to marry out of India and settle in nigeria great Wat u see in film love story is not true this is true love for each other God bless u r family with all happiness and be happy always
Tempering is a type of heat treatment used to increase the toughness of certain metals, most commonly iron-based alloys like steel. The metal being treated, using this process, is heated under its critical point temperature and then air-cooled.
To Ola's question- how did west africa and asia make the same thing? - people have migrated and mingled for ages and food has always been part of the migration. So there are many similar dishes throughout the world amongst many different cultures with similar bases. The spices and condiments have changed depending on the region and availability of spices.
Ur little toddler is so cute n adorable, he was so fascinated by ur grndparent's n wouldn't let them go, happy baby, being a South Indian myself d food, samber, chuteys dosa vada, looked so delicious n tempting. My all time favourite recipes for all seasons. God bless ur lovely family, lots of love to ur little Angel ❤
1:27 அது எப்டி நான் பண்ணாம இருப்பேன் ? 😊 : Very good, take care of your family as you have been brought up in wonderful tradition . Heart felt prayers to you and all your family.
In Trinidad and Tobago 🇹🇹🇹🇹🇹🇹🇹🇹🇹🇹🇹🇹we call Temper.."choonkay" we usually use garlic sautéed in oil and thrown hot into our dhal, tomato choka(roasted tomatoes seasoned) etc
In India it is called chaunkh....tempering with various spices like mustard seeds, red chillies, garlic, curry leaves, urad dal, all spluttering in heated oil or ghee and then added to the base dish and the lid closed so that all the flavours get locked in
Have been waiting for notification for a long time now, please always drop video at least once a week. Am so happy for this beautiful family, may the Love continue to grow more and more

You always hear that Indians are completely against marrying outside of their ethnic group. Of course, there are always exceptions. As I watched this video, I thought how beautiful the blend of two people of color is, ethnically, culturally, socially... I truly enjoyed the beauty of this video.
My heart really hurts thinking how White people had the audacity to say Black and Brown people were uncultured and so on, what i see are humble human beings who are capable of showing love and compassion towards eachother.
U see whether it was Africa or India, we were a cultured people who did not believe in hurting others and it was this soft mentality that the barbaric mercenary Westerners took advantage of ....they destroyed our cultures, made us feel ashamed of our skin colour and brainwashed us for centuries that bcos of their white skin they are superior...even though their past civilisation is savage, uncultured, British while we have a rice cultured civilisation...it is time to stand up n feel proud
Hey beautiful people, this was fun! What foods should we get our Nigerian side of the family to try? 😄
Instead of plain Vada it could be thayir Vada , coconut/ ghee rice, beetroot/ kasini halwa, aviyal I think they would love it
