Guys you really need to work on your video uploads. 240p? I can't even see the console or what you were doing in the display...Otherwise this is long overdue. My preorder is in!
How much data can it save? Can you back up data ? Can you load in data? I have 15 years worth on my pc. The pc also uploads to 3 difrent weather companys.
It is a cool new item. But at $400, I'll continue to just scroll through the data on the old Grey console to find what I'm looking for. Get the price down by about half, and I'd consider buying it. Also, on a side note, my correspondence with Davis via E-mail has been dismal/unanswered. Don't appreciate that much as a loyal customer. Vantage Vue owner for about 8-10 years.
I am wondering if it is possible to access the data on the console via a web services - LOCALLY. There seems to be an Weatherlink local API - hope it is included on the device.
I've been using a Vantage Pro for a number of years. The console is only a receiver that stores info on the device and displays it. The new version may have two-way communications (I don't have that product). If you want to see your data while away from home, you need to get an additional device ( Weatherlink Live) that relays the info being transmitted from the sensor suite to a hosting service like Weather Underground.
I looked at the webpage, watched the video on this new display. I have one vantage Vue personal weather station and console. I have it connected to an aging laptop and old software. It still works to upload my data to Weatherundeground. I share that data with local office of NWS and local news media. I would like to disconnect this old laptop before it finally dies. What exactly do I need to upload my data and share it using this display to get rid of my laptop connection? I have wifi and internet connections
Makes me skeptical on the product by the poor tech used on the video. Hopefully you put all your time into the product and not on the video.. I currently have a Vantage Vue and would seriously think about upgrading to the new console but I just can’t find enough information on the Bluetooth part…I’ll wait around.
With a lithium battery of 4500 mAh, more or less one day of duration without the power supply. I suggest to use the console only with the power supply.
Was this really streamed in 240 p in 2023? lol Davis needs to get its sh*t together and really get into the 21st century. the price increase in products is simply unacceptable! This console is also a rip off!

Does your console offer a high contrast mode?
I can't find anywhere in the manual that it displays high wind gust. If it doesn't that's a deal breaker for me. It's also way overpriced.
When is this console shipped out to customers who pre-ordered. What date. Hopefully soon

That's because it is full of 'wrong' things. It's buggy as hell, and missing a lot of things. Even after 5 months.
