Adrian, I don't know if you are reading this but if you are then I'd like to say that I get really depressed all the time, and when I listen to you music that 8s so full of life, I feel free, and when I listen to Celtic music, I feel some, I feel like I have a purpose in life. So thank you, thank you adrian, for saving my life so many times...
Deep in the emerald woods of my home; lives a mighty benevolent druid who's dreams take shape around him. With his silver wooden pipe he casts an enchantment on all beings within, mortal and immortal alike fall under his spell, music so divine echoes all around them. Merriment is shared amongst the beasts of the forest and the mortal races from beyond. Clouds shatter in the sky, raining light unto the people, flowers of various shapes and colors bloomed so they to can listen to the song. He is the keeper of the lost lore, the woodland wanderer, friend of animals and men, the dancer in the moonlight, he is the Druid.
Am I the only one who thinks this song would be PERFECT for a dream ritual or something? Like maybe some kind of ritual theme for a powerful spell that allows you to travel across the vast realm of dreams, or even an entirely new plain of existence?
This kind of music reminds me how lucky I am to be from a minority. To be Welsh, and to speak it - is a blessing, and I hope someday the tide of our cultural waning will turn. To whoever made this video I am thankful, any small thing that brings attention to 'Celtic' helps educate others in the world about us. It is not a dead culture, not yet :) Hyn yn neud fi feddwl am Cymru. Pa mor lwcus da ni. Gobeithio mynd yn ol adra yn fuan..
Celtic Nord If you go all the way back to the Romans then yes, that would be the start of it. However, I was referring mostly to the extremely hostile anti-Welsh sentiment that lasted from 1300-1950s. It's not well known, but there was a concerted effort to eradicate what was left. Speaking Welsh in school, for example, was punishable by a beating as recent as 1920s (Google: Welsh knot.) That is survived was down to sheer will. Other Celtic languages were not so lucky. Anyway, all best to you :)
Celtic Nord Ah well. As long as both of us, and millions of others - are still kicking - then its far from over. Do you mind if I ask where you're from? Your name/picture implies somewhere in Scandinavia?
Celtic Nord im Scottish, my parents are scottish and my grandparents are scottish and half irish and my great great grandparents are irish so i have scottish and irish blood in me
This is what celtic music does. It brings you to another world with fantasy, it saves lives, helps you with drawing, helps with sleep or meditating, its letting you make your own story for the song (i always make story's with celtic music), it makes you emotional, it makes you happy, it makes you feel like you're from another time, it makes you sad, it makes you feel strong, it makes you feel everything
I would just like to say Thank you for coming up with this piece. My mother died recently and her wish was kind of not to have a religious service. A friend who is a funeral celebrant did the Celebration of Life for my mom and I got to search for magical music to use to send her off to nature and the celtic lands (she was Irish) and this was just beautiful. I used it for when they brought her to her resting place. We played it to the very end. The fact we were in nature in a natural burial ground in the sun with tree, flowers and birds around us made this all very special. Thank you!
I found it! This song is included as part of the daytime exploring music in the Immersive Music mod for Skyrim and this is one of my absolute favorite additions. It really conveys the sense of excitement and wonder of going on an adventure and overlooking the vast environments.
A song of a different time, different lands and a different people. Before the arrival of the dreaded warriors in red clothes, rounded helmets, short swords, javelins and large red shields led by generals ambitious as they were relentless.
I remember having a playlist with this kind of music. I used to play it when playing long sessions of minecraft with friends, and the playlist in itself was something about 4-5 hours long. It makes me kind of nostalgic ngl
It's a like fairytale like all your music. In this song a Celtic city is hidden that all the people live in peace. It's one of the best fantasy music I've ever heard. Well done you're the best and my favourite music composer. Thank you for making all these beautifull songs.
Adrian, your music transports me to a place I can't describe in words. Most importantly, it calms my soul, my entire being. I listen to it, all day long, when I'm working. It's the only thing that keeps me from having major meltdowns during the day. To thank you, is not enough, but it encompasses what we all feel, I'm sure. Happy Holidays to you and Carina and may 2014 continue to feed your head with wondrous compositions for all to enjoy!!!!
Yes, I in fact have a rather close relation with the Druids in this forest. It's a relief for me as well as for them to have another immortal to talk to.
Exactly!!! I have goosebumps right now. I don't know who i was in the past life but damn this kind of music feels oddly familiar, i cannot describe the feeling.
Definitely! not just listening to this magic of music with them, I feel the warmth of the campfire which they have lightened up before me.Winter stands no chance!
druids won´t use metal it can cause them to lose there magic for a day for touching it if there is to much (this is because they are beings with the magic of nature and wielding an object made unnaturally causes the flow of the natural magic to be taken away by the beings of nature that gave them the magic) so some of these instruments could not be used by them so i would like to think about it in the view of the elven folk/fey (fairy like creatures such as dryads and pixies) playing it in the druids honor or as a symbol of thanks or i like to think of it as you playing the song around a fire as for the legend of the druids or with the attempt to bring one to you for a conversation or for the honor of meeting one but i agree if the instruments were all wooden or made with natural objects like stone then that would be an amazing experience (i study under fantasy a lot but the version of the druid i am referring to is from d&d im not sure if normal druids have this problem) but i did find out that druids were (in real life) Celtic/pagan priest or philosophers
This song is one more example why I designed and ordered an Adrian von Ziegler sweatshirt on Custom Ink. I know you're used to hearing it by now, but thank you so much for your music! Spectacular work...
The time is 2:36 after midnight here in Greece.I am downloading the tracks and go to the forest to listen to.I will not be alone.Pan,elves and fairytales will be my company.great work my friend.
I...I am just amazed and astounded by your talent, man! You obviously have an amazing gift in music. This goes for all of your magnificent creations. ...Just wonderful....
its not about where you come from or what you have in your blood its about the love for the nature our mother the real god who created us all and that love is in your mind and heart and your blood everywhere no matter where you come from its about giving thanks for the beautiful gift that life is all our lives we live from the nature it gives us food water everything we need and when we die we give our bodies back as nutricion and there is nothing over natural nature is the highest and most holy thing there is and it is beautiful and mystic enough. dont be proud of invissible human made borders if you are from scottland for example I would be proud of the forests and nature there and that once upon a time there lived a beautiful people who showed that nature alot of love and respekt.

Please, continue to make more music with wind instruments and captivating melodies like this.. I swear I could see a new world when I closed my eyes, listening to this blaring through my headphones.

Adrian this is amazingly beautiful I cant believe how you keep out doing yourself just amazing I am forever greatful that you share this with all of us .
Magical music, it' awakeys the deep memorie of the people. I have been listening to ancient Slavic music for a long time. Now I'm going to listen to Celtic music. There is no contradiction here: it's just that two cultures complement and enrich each other. It is tune with my soul. From Russia 🇷🇺 with love
I wonder how depressed people must be to dislike this stunning masterpiece. Oh, and by the way, Adrian, this is one of the most beautiful descriptions you've ever written.

Hi, I just wanted to say thank you. Your music makes it possible to escape to another world. I always listen to it while I'm reading the lord of the rings.🖒

I wonder how depressed people must be to dislike this stunning masterpiece. Oh, and by the way, Adrian, this is one of the most beautiful descriptions you've ever written.
7 years later.. I like this because I suffer from depression. Were other music fails this somehow penetrates it.
Sunt cuprins de un ocean de dezamăgiri,
Unde s-au pierdut sentimentele de iubiri?
Care te făceau să zbori, printre stele,
Când te aveam, cândva, în brațele mele.
Pe tine, te doream cu ardoare
Sufletul din mine, doare.
Poți doar să tratezi orice durere,
Dar, nu poti oferi, nicio plăcere,
Iubire, nu vei oferi vreodată,
Că nu știi să apreciezi niciodată,
Un suflet care te iubește,
Tu ești tot ce-și dorește.
Fantastic music! Hello from Rio de Janeiro, Brasil.
