What a great relaxing video. Anton Rogers voice is impeccable and the whole video takes the viewer back to a time when things really were better no matter what anyone tells you. To recreate this era the men and women who keep this going are to be applauded and thanked. I can't thank you enough for this wonderful piece of film.
I have Return to Bewdley on tape when shown during Going Loco. No point uploading it as there's more than one upload of it on here and my recording is far from brilliant as the tape has suffered badly over the years. Another upload on YT says it was also shown in Jan 1990, and I'm guessing it was also shown earlier than that also considering it's from 1987. I wonder if it's ever been shown in more recent years. Never realised until recently that Anton Rodgers of Fresh Fields fame was the narrator. This is what you call a proper steam railway programme, unlike the modern day fly-on-the-wall crap we have now where it's all about the staff, employers and volunteers who can't seem to do their job right and balsing up everything (for sake of the viewers) and all the drama and arguments and showing some attention seeking couple tying the knot on a steam train, as many couples do these days NOT, add to that the annoying background music, over use of drone footage, headache inducing fast editing and product placement.

Magnificent, thank you for posting. I know this railway very well. Seeing is believing. 👏👏👏
I had this recorded from TV on a VHS :)
Is that Jim Palm doing the train announcements? He used to have a programme on BBC radio called Rail
