  • Tested at uncapped frame rate, 40fps, 30fps. 30fps sometimes freezes for a moment while closing the map/inventory. I recommend uncapping the frame rate in shrines or face massive input lag.
    Overclocks are as follows:
    3200mhz Ram overlock = 6400mbps or OLED RAM Speeds, this is up to the RAM in your steam deck and not every deck can can do this.
    Messing with your Ram overlock and timings can easily brick your steam deck if you don’t do your research and aren’t careful.
    CPU OC = 4000mhz (Stock is 3500)
    GPU OC = 2100 mhz (Stock is 1600)
    RAM OC = 3200mhz/6400mbps (Stock is 5500 I believe)
    TDP = 23 WATTS (Stock is 15 Watts)
    CPU UV -20
    GPU UV -20
    SOC OV +30
    OC= Overclock
    UV = Undervolt
    OV = Overvolt
    The SOC requires overvolting for overclocked ram speeds to work.
    For TOTK I recommend using the emulator that shall not be named for steam deck, the final EA build will do. I also recommend a handful of mods that you can find by googling TOTK mod collection, really great stuff there. I also recommend a GPU cap of 1000mhz and let the device scale the CPU, or set it to 3500mhz or above with an OC, as well the Yuzu settings shown in the video. Also, your steam deck WILL get hotter by pushing its limits, I recommend a thermal pad, external jasux fan or backplate or both, a custom fan curve in fantastical plugin, whatever you can do to cool the system.
    All in all, I’ve seen massive performance gains in everything I’ve tried since overclocking my steam deck, and if you know what you are doing I seriously recommend it.

    Holy shit, this is actually playable! The last time I tried ToTK on my steam deck on Yuzu EA, it was a damn mess -- barely getting above 22FPS in most open world areas. Even with the OC though, it's interesting that your CPUs don't really boost above 3500Mhz, but this is definitely an improvement over stock as I recall all cores were being throttled to around 2200-2400Mhz which led to a lot of stutter. That TDP increase seems to make a huge difference here.
    Looks like Valve's latest EA release supports OLED overclocking, so I'll be trying this out once it gets out of the Dev channel and is at least in Beta.
