I was gonna save this for it’s own vlog but parts of this song sum up how I’ve been feeling IRL. Next week is my last week at my job, the end of production on my very first cinematic film (not one I wrote but one I worked on as apart my animation job) and my lease is running out so I’ll have to give up all the independence I’ve built to move back with my parents and pause all the momentum in my animation career. Yet I’ve just been tried and numb during this experience. The fact that I’m not panicking is making me panic. Yet it just feels like a wave of depression has hit me at once. Like I’m accepting my freaking death even though I know this is just a road bump and eventually someone will hire me and I’ll bounce back. But it just doesn’t feel like that. I’m too calm and too panicked at the same time. People at work can’t see this, not that I’m a very extroverted social person irl anyway, but I’m suffering inside. The only thing that’s been keeping me sane is you guys and your support. Last thing I need is some dumbass internet drama during these times but I’m glad my interactions with you guys have been wholesome and fun this past week or two. I’m hoping these numb depressing feelings will fade once I’m settled back home and I can formulate a plan for the future. But yeah, thank you all 💜
