Hi James , that keel holder caught my eye as well - looks like a good solid piece of equipment - and I'll admit to having a bit of a "tool addiction" and it triggered my OCD :-) / in (his?) other video Fling fish @0:54 I saw the face plate really well which reads as a - Imai Sailing Catcher and on the base plate its self as best I can make out -- Imai Kaganu ? co ltd . As I really don't know Asian languages at all - I don't know if the lettering on the face plate is Japanese or Cantonese ? but it gives us a starting point to try to find one ? should you get lucky and find one before me ? and have a spare moment perhaps you come back to this and let me know :) happy hunting , - Rick .
Pt2 - after a good look around Amai closed its doors back in 2002 - Japanese company - so what we see in this video is kinda of an antique ? saw a couple on Asian auction ? type sites - none in English - and E-Bay and amazon have nothing at this time / figured I'd save you the wasted time of searching :( Cheers .
@@badcat4707 Hi Rick, most likely is Japanese made, it a well made keel holder. I did look for it on Chinese eBuy and so on but no luck. Japanese had their own website which do similar to eBay but I don’t know the name. James
