Talking to my niece is like talking to a 13 year old. Other times talking to her is like interacting with a 25 year old adult about to go to a nightclub or something. She tells me she wishes she had a phone. She is also into makeup, nail polish, and lipstick already. And she’s far from the double digits age bracket. She once casually told me she is not a kid, she’s a grown woman when we were talking one day. I remind her that she is still a little girl and give her things appropriate for her age. I tell her she does not need a phone. She wished she was a grownup so she could have a phone. I keep her away from TikTok and other social media and only do kid appropriate stuff with her. She is in a hurry to grow up and she has a long way to go before she even becomes a teenager.
I "loved" her before, but today even more. Healthy food & family eating together and chatting will always encourage a healthy mind. Amaya is beautiful, strong and oh so clever. Articulate beyond her young years and a fab big sister to little Remi. Total RESPECT to you both for your amazing parenting x

Her vocabulary, articulate communication, imagination, smartness, cuteness and loving kindness!! Mind boggling 🤯 Then there’s her baby brother who she’s smitten with, just like us! I just keeping wishing them the best! I think she’s asking for empty rooms in the hotel since she said “everyone should share grand-dad’s house” she started to wonder if there will be enough room for everyone. Even when she says wildly imaginative things she knows it’s “pretend” and not real. We can tell. There seems to be some logic behind everything she says 😊 She’d be amazing at anything she chooses to be, but I wish she’d be a writer really!
Her facial reaction to the question as to what she'll have at grandpa's birthday dinner makes me laugh. She's such an old soul in a little 2 year old body. 😂😂😂😂😂 bless her!
