Castle and Beckett's wedding was so perfect. The vows were so amazing and true to character. Beckett and Castle have overcome so much individually and together as friends, partners and lovers. There isn't anything that they can't overcome as long as they are together. Castle taught Beckett to believe in fate, magic and to look forward to all the adventures that tomorrow will bring. Thank you Nathan and Stana for the past 6 years.
I have watch this over and over and over again and I can't stop crying what a beautiful wedding absolutely beautiful well done castle writers..... well done
I just can't breathe. Six years waiting for this moment. Thank you, Richard Edgar Alexander Rodgers Castle and Katherine Houghton Beckett now Mrs Castle. Thank you, for being a part of my life.
I'm real happy for them. This is exactly how I want to get married some day. At the end of the day all that matters to Richard is Kate and all that matters to Kate is Richard. Nobody else needed to be there outside of those who were to make it perfect. Their vows were awesome. Emotion stricken words in every line. You just couldn't help but feel the sincerity of their love and all 10 million of us that watched this show witnessed a real gem....beauty unfolded. Thanks Rick and Kate, for the time of our lives!!! Always
I agree that at the end of the day, the person you're marrying is all that matters, but see it from the perspective of the people that are close to you and care about you, they'd want to share their joy with you and be apart of one of the most important moments in your life, so not inviting Lanie, Ryan and Espo was kind of selfish.
JaneyAusten As I already said here. I don't think at all that it is selfish. Lanie ok, you could have invited her, Ryan maybe. But why should they, and in particular Castle, invite Esposito. The way he has been treating Castle is not exactly like a good friend. I wouldn't want such a person at my wedding either. You said they want to share their joy, well if I see how Esposito acted then I don't think so. He was already being weird to Castle before he dissapeared. Esposito is supposed to be his friend, but he had no trust in Castle what so ever. And that while Castle even made him his best man. Why should he want a person at his wedding who calls himself a friend, but does not act like one.
JaneyAusten I agree, nice vows but a little too selfish for me after putting all your friends on hold they are not invited to this important moment. A wedding is not only about the person you are marrying it 's also about the memories, pictures to show your children down the road, Kate has none, I think Castle could have done a little better by Kate after waiting 2 extra months, your wedding day is supposed to be celebrated not some tiny 3 people ceremony, come on!
kroiner Who says that this is not exactly how Kate wants it too. Because you are completely wrong with what you say. You say that your wedding day is supposed to be celebrated not some tiny 3 people ceremony. That is just completely wrong. Because you know what? There is no good or bad way to celebrate your wedding. Everyone wants their wedding in a different way, and you should make people decide for themselves. You do not need to look at how other people around you will feel about it, as long as you are happy with how the wedding went then it is fine. Apparently Castle and Kate liked their wedding like this, otherwise they wouldn't have done it. And then they do not have to think about how their friends will feel, because it is not their wedding. And again, in my opinion it is not selfish to not invite for example Esposito who has been acting as anything but a good friend to Castle. A lot of people around me got married. From friends to family. One had a big wedding in a church with hundreds of people, the other married in city hall without even their parents, the other went to city hall and only picked up a paper and went in jeans, and yes I also had a nephew who married with only their parents present. There is no type of wedding that is good or bad. As long as the people that get married feel that it is the happiest day of their lives.
couldn't have said it better! I would want to get married like that. no fancy party with 20000 people you haven't seen in years, no big venue or stuff like that. Just an intimate setting with the person you love.
“The moment I met you my life became extraordinary” and she is absolutely right. He brought her life joy and fun.Without him she would’ve been a woman that is married to her work.
I've got to ask, because that song originally played in the Always episode, do you think the writers saw our reaction and decided to make it THEIR song?
This was far beyond what I could have ever imagined. It was sweet, romantic, touching, classy and simple! The vows were beautiful and to the point...no filler or anything unnecessary. I loved the whole backdrop, the rings, the dance...all of it! After seeing all those sneak peeks about the episode and then seeing the entire episode complete, it is now one of my top 5 faves. They touched on so many different parts from the very beginning of the series and tied it up beautifully. Great job by the entire cast and crew of Castle...they did not disappoint me one bit. Thank you for taking us on such an amazing journey with you. Sometimes I wish I could rewatch the entire series all over again for the very first time! I love this fandom 😘
Don't know if it's my fav episode ever, but surely is on the top five list. It was great and fun to watch. The vows were absolutely touching and the dance.. shoot me in the chest, I can happily die after it.
I've never heard more beautiful vows than theirs everytime I watch that scene I get emotional (yes I know it's been 6 years but I still love the show)😂🔥
We waited 7 and a half seasons for this one moment and I have to say, it was absolutely perfect. I actually cried when they were saying their vows and a montage of their years together went through my mind. Ugh, Castle and Beckett will forever be my most favorite couple. They are completely magical together and I really hope next on the agenda is little writers and cops running around :)
readertypertweeter love the idea, but I really hope not. I think the writers would find that one hell of a challenge to keep the story on crime solving, without making it a soap opera.
The same thing happened to me when I was watching! I love the idea of little cops and writers running around. And I think that it might make the show even more interesting, to show the challenges of everyday life. A lot of shows have done that. Like Bones, and Law and Order:SVU and it has made those shows more interesting((-:
This was absolutely perfect!!! I'm incredibly happy for them and for us hard-core fans! We've been following them from the beginning and now we finally got to see them married. Their vows and the first dance as husband and wife were extremely touching.
You’re right, Kate. It is perfect. Perfect audience, perfect vows, perfect kiss, perfect couple. I loved watching them tie the knot. Weddings are the best!! Long Live Richard and Kate Castle!!!!
I just love them guys. I don't see the need to compare couples and their weddings. Each have their own significance. Booth and Brennan are great for sure but for me, I love the journey of Castle and Beckett more. It just feels real. It is best on screen relationship that I have been privileged to see and I'm really grateful
Beautiful scene! The simple casual yet elegant wedding attire is stunning, I love the lace top with pants and the bow at the back, and the fact that Castle is wearing open collar. It's original and not cliche with a big white wedding dress and suits. The vows were PERFECT. Bottom line - I will forever be crying over this scene. Terri is a genius!
The moment I love the most is when she says it's perfect and the look on his face. He's been so tormented by everything and this was the exactly what he needed to hear. I love this episode but this scene is the best :)
They were both great in this scene but Nathan Fillion killed it. Just completely killed it. He carried the episode. Flawless delivery. I am in a glass case of emotion.
She's wearing the earrings Martha gave her during "For Better or Worse" - somehow this makes me ridiculously happy. Also, Stana Katic is one of the only people I've ever seen that can pull off those high-waisted, sashed pants without looking goofy.
This episode was awesome! THEY ARE FINALLY MARRIED!!! You know, people say that's when shows get weak---when the writers marry the show's main characters, but I don't believe so. At least not for this show. I think the chemistry is what makes this unique and there can be many more stories told with them and I can't wait to find out. With that being said, I DON'T WANT TO WAIT ANOTHER DAMN WEEK TO GET MY CASTLE FIX! I love this show!! Btw, I've played 7x07 promo at least 20 times already. Also, it would have been amazing if she somehow read the letter she wrote to him back in 6x17. I don't know if CSU ever swept that place she was held in, but it would have been a beautiful touch. Nevertheless, phenomenal episode!
The song that was playing when Kate realized she can't live without Rick is the song Rick decides to play when he promises to never live without Kate for the time of their lives!!! Priceless and perfect!!!!
PERFECT. I loved the whole episode. That he thought he may not be good for her. That she fell in love with im again in the AU. That Kate was so honest with Castle telling him right away that she is not ready for someone elses happy ending. No holing back any more - at all. That their wedding was so so intemate. Really only family there. And the vows so beautiful. It was just THEM. (Just the fake sunset was a bit ... Urgh 😆)
Thanks so much for this. Here in the UK we don't get to see Series 7 until some time, as yet unknown, next year!!! So beautiful and simple, just how a wedding should be.

Beckett's mother would've cried if she did get to attend Beckett & Castle's wedding. She was there at least in spirit and must've cried out of joy at that event.
Also, what I really liked was how Beckett said "it's perfect" to make sure Castle knew she loved it and it was more than enough for her, after he told her he'd spend the rest of his life trying to make it up to her. And the look on his face. So cuteee :)
the wedding was very beautiful don't you think and how in the world did they come up with those wedding vows I mean they didn't have time to prepare it was a hurried wedding. think espo and lanie will have their own wedding someday
Love this scene, but it would be so much better with Lanie, Esposito, Ryan, Jenny, Gates, Montgomery's family, Maddie and everyone else they invited from season 6
I agree. I would've loved to have the team there...oh and Montgomery's family for sure. I think that would've made it more touching. But I still loved it.
Can we just talk about how perfect the lighting and background in this was?! They have put so much thought and effort into making this the perfect wedding for us, and I must say I think they succeeded!

For some strange reason I'm more happy for Jim Beckett than the newlyweds. OK so I was a hysterical wreck by the end of this! SO MANY FEELS! While it was a little short the dance at the end made up for it! PS When Beckett said about the warmth of your smile, I was officially dead!
I'm not sure if the green screen is really poorly done or if it's supposed to look that way. Either way, I don't care because that scene was just so cute!!!!! Caskett at last!
I wish they would've added "and to never be boring even though we're married" because didn't they said they were going to add that in one of the episode during season 6? But the vows were just PERFECT anyways! This episode was just amazing, and Castle is amazing. ALWAYS.
that whole alternate universe thing was just a dream induced by castle after all and when I watched it I thought it was real and what did you think of beckett trying to bring castle back form the dream induced alternate universe and the shock when he saw the real beckett
As much as I would have liked to have seen everyone there with them, I liked that it was just them and the 3 most important people in their lives, besides each other.
It's now our job as loyal fans to keep Rick, Kate and their "family" alive. Please do not allow unauthorized copies of these clips and past episodes to endanger the life of the "family" we have come to know. Never thought in my wildest dreams that I would become so invested in a TV program. I remember a time when we didn't even have TVs and lord knows I've watched thousands of different programs and never gave any of them much thought. From the very first day there was something special, magical about the relationship of Rick and Kate, something that kept us all coming back to see the story grow. This was their special day, and it was kind of like watching members of my family find their hearts desire. May they solve many more mysteries together.
What a beautifully written scene. And what's with all the complaints about the backdrop? It's wonderful - like an abstract painting - it adds to the magic of the moment.
I don't care about the awful green screen THAT WAS GORGEOUS, LET ME BE TO CRY MY HEART OUT BECAUSE THIS WAS JUST ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS! ♡♥

Simple and perfect with the blessing of the most important people in their lives! loved it
“The moment I met you my life became extraordinary” and she is absolutely right. He brought her life joy and fun.Without him she would’ve been a woman that is married to her work.
The wedding was perfect, and the fact that they danced to In My Veins made it all come full circle, brilliant. I'm so so so happy.
I've got to ask, because that song originally played in the Always episode, do you think the writers saw our reaction and decided to make it THEIR song?
Definitely, the song was perfect in 4x23 so i think they kind of made it official that that was their song when they danced to it at the prom
Oh great! Same as me then! It was SO perfect!!
Perfect except for the fact Laine, Esposito, and Ryan weren't there.
I wrote the vows down for my wedding but that song is too depressing to me.
When Castle sees her for the first time, and they can't help but smile ♥...The love and joy is written all over their faces.
This was far beyond what I could have ever imagined. It was sweet, romantic, touching, classy and simple! The vows were beautiful and to the point...no filler or anything unnecessary. I CANT STOP CRYING, MY EYES ARE RED, AND I CANT BREATH!!! THIS WAS THE MOST PERFECT AND BEAUTIFUL MOMENT EVER!!!
Don't know if it's my fav episode ever, but surely is on the top five list. It was great and fun to watch. The vows were absolutely touching and the dance.. shoot me in the chest, I can happily die after it.
I never thought Castle could be more perfect of a man... then I saw this
I've never heard more beautiful vows than theirs everytime I watch that scene I get emotional (yes I know it's been 6 years but I still love the show)😂🔥
castle is on Lifetime channel
We waited 7 and a half seasons for this one moment and I have to say, it was absolutely perfect. I actually cried when they were saying their vows and a montage of their years together went through my mind. Ugh, Castle and Beckett will forever be my most favorite couple. They are completely magical together and I really hope next on the agenda is little writers and cops running around :)
I SO think that the "gift" we will be getting in the Christmas episode will be a caskett baby!
readertypertweeter love the idea, but I really hope not. I think the writers would find that one hell of a challenge to keep the story on crime solving, without making it a soap opera.

I love this scene so much.
I love it
You’re right, Kate. It is perfect. Perfect audience, perfect vows, perfect kiss, perfect couple. I loved watching them tie the knot. Weddings are the best!! Long Live Richard and Kate Castle!!!!
As much as a big wedding would have been great to see, this is perfect.
Why can't I stop crying!!😭😭 This is so extremely beautiful😍😍
That was literally amazing!! It was sooo worth the wait, I loved that they just exchanged vows and that it was only in front of family!
And Castles face after she said it's perfect. Awwwe soooo much love.
It is in deed perfect.
I just love them guys. I don't see the need to compare couples and their weddings. Each have their own significance. Booth and Brennan are great for sure but for me, I love the journey of Castle and Beckett more. It just feels real. It is best on screen relationship that I have been privileged to see and I'm really grateful
Totally amazing episode I was crying throughout the whole thing.
OMGGG. THIS IS THE BEST MOMENT EVER!! I'M CRYING SO MUCH BECAUSE WE HAVE BEEN WAITING FOR THIS MOMENT 7 YEARS AND AAAAHHHHHH IS PERFECT 😭❤️
Just perfect! I really miss these two.
Perfect….great memories.

This scene is just so perfect!! Ah the feels!! 🙏🙏
#CaskettAtLast !!!!! waaaaaaaaaay better than i expected! YES!
The moment I love the most is when she says it's perfect and the look on his face. He's been so tormented by everything and this was the exactly what he needed to hear. I love this episode but this scene is the best :)
Their vows were amazing!

best wedding scene that was ever on screen

what did you think of the whole alternate universe fiasco I think it was slightly ok
tom chan Yeah I agree it was OK, but the wedding at the end made up for it! And the dancing at the end just broke me!!
"Misses Castle.."
me be like: **smiles but cries a river**
:')
The song that was playing when Kate realized she can't live without Rick is the song Rick decides to play when he promises to never live without Kate for the time of their lives!!!
Priceless and perfect!!!!
This is so awsome...
Don't know what to say.
I loved everything, the pictures, the music, everything
best scene of the season and one of or the best scene/episode of the series. Can't Wait till next week till the honeymoon
I hear it's going to be fun and did you see the promo Beckett gurdgelly refused the dude ranch honeymoon but she reluctantly was pressed into it.
And this, people,is why caskett will be the best couple on tv for a very, very long time!
Oh god I wanna cry. It's so beautiful !
Urgh 😆)
Katherine Castle said it best. "It's perfect"
Caskett wedding = true perfection ❤️
I adore this scene!! =) Too much for my heart to handle.
After 7 years!! Finally! ! 🙌🙌🙌💖💖😆
This scene never grows old !!!
When they met she whispers to Castle "You have no idea" and years later they knew 3:21 💙😊
Thanks so much for this. Here in the UK we don't get to see Series 7 until some time, as yet unknown, next year!!!
So beautiful and simple, just how a wedding should be.
It's usually between January and March, isn't it?
there are websites where you can start watching it today. You dont have to wait till next year!! watchtvlinks.sx is one I use.
I use cucirca, but there's something about watching it on my television that tides me over - and watching episode clips online.
togirl188
I tried looking at watchtv but I was taken to a website where I would be charged $34.99 per month! Maybe I got it wrong but I can watch it on Alibi next year as Alibi is on the Sky platform and if only iTunes would get their act together for this season that it would be £24.99 for the whole series pass.
Someone on TH-cam is posting the whole series in 20/21 parts and its tempting for me as my viewing it on TH-cam isn't going to affect American watching figures.
SYLVIA F watchseries or watchtvlinks
believe me I dont pay!
They got married on my birthday. It was the best birthday ever! I was super excited and waited all day for their wedding.
It was so perfect!!! It was amazing, I can't stop smiling dammit
Beckett's mother would've cried if she did get to attend Beckett & Castle's wedding. She was there at least in spirit and must've cried out of joy at that event.

I love watching all the castle episodes so much 😍🙌😁😂🙌😄😍
Best scene of the series
the wedding was very beautiful don't you think and how in the world did they come up with those wedding vows I mean they didn't have time to prepare it was a hurried wedding. think espo and lanie will have their own wedding someday
My friends and i all screamed like wild animals "FINALLY".
and then we died tho
Love this scene, but it would be so much better with Lanie, Esposito, Ryan, Jenny, Gates, Montgomery's family, Maddie and everyone else they invited from season 6
I agree. I would've loved to have the team there...oh and Montgomery's family for sure. I think that would've made it more touching. But I still loved it.
So beautiful.
Yay!!, Caskett 4ever!!! This totally made my day!
Now all we need is a little kate or Richard junior! ;)
absolutely perfect!
I♥Caskett and this Video!♥
they either hated each other in s8 or not at all, no way anyone could pull off this amazing of an chemistry, despite how good someone is at acting.
Can we just talk about how perfect the lighting and background in this was?! They have put so much thought and effort into making this the perfect wedding for us, and I must say I think they succeeded!
The vows were beautiful. But that green screening... this was the most prominent scene of the show but they ruined it with that awful tech-work. *cringe* Andrew... you should have put more effort into making the scene. :(
Nathan and Stana did an amazing job!
Sorry but where is that green screen? Which second? Can't find one!
Green Screen is a technique used in shooting scenes when you want to alter the background. You actually perform it in front of a green screen and the background is put afterwards.
You can see here that the background looks made up and it's not actually shot in Hamptons.
Hence, it's not in a particular second but in the whole scene that it is used. :)

Happy, in love, being together forever. Just how a wedding should be.
For some strange reason I'm more happy for Jim Beckett than the newlyweds. Don't get me wrong, I am sooooo happy for them but Jim watching his only daughter, whose life was all about her job, finding love and getting married is so heartwarming and sweet. As for only the immediate family attending the wedding.......they are the BEST kind of weddings. There is no pressure since they are the only people who will always love and be there for you no matter what. Friends come and go but family is forever.
CONGRATULATIONS FOR THE CC!!!!!!!!!
OK so I was a hysterical wreck by the end of this! SO MANY FEELS! While it was a little short the dance at the end made up for it!
PS When Beckett said about the warmth of your smile, I was officially dead!
Felt the same. Except for me, it was when Castle said "You are the joy in my heart." I think that's exactly what Beckett needed to hear.
OMG!!! I'm so happy!!! We've been waiting for this for so long and now they are Mr & Mrs Castle!!! ALWAYS
OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Alleluja they are married!! I wait 7 seasons for this...
my babies they deserved that so much💖 most beautiful couple ever!
love when he put in my veins to dance. ..I want a Richard castle too!!!
BECKETT WITH PANTS
HAHAHAHAHAHH
BUT THE MOMENT WAS MAGICCCCC
💕💕Beautiful!! 💕💕...now for the kids😜
I'm not sure if the green screen is really poorly done or if it's supposed to look that way. Either way, I don't care because that scene was just so cute!!!!! Caskett at last!
babies got married and it was perfect!!!
Yeah. I finally found out what The Song at The End of The Episode is it's:
Andrew Belle - In My Veins
yea, thats the same song played at the end of Always
Yes,and also in the episode about Castle and Beckett investigating a girl whom they thought had telekinetic powers.
In this episode, does it mean that it's the third time that the song has been played.
Yes,it's the 3rd time this song titled In My Veins has been played on Castle.
Yes,it was the 3rd & last time the song In My Veins performed by Andrew Belle was heard in on an episode of Castle.
I wish they would've added "and to never be boring even though we're married" because didn't they said they were going to add that in one of the episode during season 6? But the vows were just PERFECT anyways! This episode was just amazing, and Castle is amazing. ALWAYS.
i fully expected him to add that to the end of his vows, and was more than a little surprised and disappointed that he didnt.
Ils sont magnifiques je les aimes
extraordinary something he always told her in season 1...!!! i cant believe i missed that
Their SONG!
This song represents the start of them... it was just perfect.
My face is going to break from smiling so much, finally married! AHH!!
And I don't care how awful is that green screen. I'm so happy and full of different emotions that I see that like the real Hamptons 😂
that whole alternate universe thing was just a dream induced by castle after all and when I watched it I thought it was real and what did you think of beckett trying to bring castle back form the dream induced alternate universe and the shock when he saw the real beckett
As much as I would have liked to have seen everyone there with them, I liked that it was just them and the 3 most important people in their lives, besides each other.
Best show on tv I love castle
I have to say this. That's some of the worst green screening I have ever seen
It was intended to give a ‘dreamy’ effect
who else cried!!!!!!
Too bad this is only a show instead of real life. They are a beautiful couple and would make a great Mom & Dad.
It's now our job as loyal fans to keep Rick, Kate and their "family" alive. Please do not allow unauthorized copies of these
clips and past episodes to endanger the life of the "family" we have come to know. Never thought in my wildest dreams
that I would become so invested in a TV program. I remember a time when we didn't even have TVs and lord knows I've
watched thousands of different programs and never gave any of them much thought. From the very first day there was
something special, magical about the relationship of Rick and Kate, something that kept us all coming back to see the story
grow. This was their special day, and it was kind of like watching members of my family find their hearts desire. May they
solve many more mysteries together.
OMGGG!!! I just noticed... HER EARRINGS!!!!!😢😍😢😘😢
LOOOOVEDIT !!Still wish we would have seen Jim say something
I Love the Song and Castle and Beket❤❤❤

What a beautifully written scene. And what's with all the complaints about the backdrop? It's wonderful - like an abstract painting - it adds to the magic of the moment.
Watching in 2024 bawling my eyes out.
just started to watch castle from the start .( newcomer. ) just getting into it .
it's perfect!
This wedding is perhaps the sweetest thing in the show followed by one of the worst green screen effects used in a show 😂
OMG im very happy.
I think it will add a whole new dynamic to the stories
I just realize Beckett GAVE the bouquet to Alexis. Guess she's getting married next. LOL!!!
Andrew belle - In my veins excellent song.... i loved.
it is perfect!
