Making a Half Moon Cradle

  • In this video we use pallet wood and scraps to build a Half Moon Baby Cradle. We walk through the steps in order to make one yourself so you can be ready for that next baby shower or...the next baby. Either or get ready to let the scraps fly!
    Tools used:
    Ryobi Jigsaw
    Ryobi Orbital Sander
    Makita Impact Driver
    CH Brad Nailer
    1 1/4 " brad nails
    Husky 175 lb compressor
    Materials:
    1x4 pallet wood x alot
    1/2 plywood x2
    2x3 pine boards x1 (structural support)

    You need supports on the bottom for it to sit on. No one is going to brace it on a wall.

    That is precious how long do you anticipate this to hold up? What did you seal with to protect it without harming an infant

    Hey nice job. The "bent wood" is actually MDF cut to the same size as the outer pallet sides.

    I see no wood glue, not to smart. What's use wood glue when woodworking and especially when its for a baby and your only using a brad nailer
