Although I do still love the traditional style of marching band, these kids are just simply AMAZING! They are on another level! I can imagine and appreciate the practices, the rehearsals, and the dedication that this marching band puts forward to be in my opinion, the most viewed marching band on the internet. Excellent work. Once Again.....another fantastic presentation of the students of K.T. Caught by the camera and excellent techniques of one of....if not the best videographer in Japan. These kids know what its like to practice until all hours of the night, to memorize a piece of music and then learn the dance step to make this one of the best presentations of a weekend that absolutely full of music, dance and smiles from ear to ear. Smiles from the audience and the students because ultimately they love doing this. This is why each one joined this club, simply because it is one of the best in Japan..... and the travel perks are certainly worth the late night and weekend hours of learning their craft. Arigatou to st. taketo, the students, advisors and instructional staff.....you are the BEST.

Outstanding! This performance had it all, and all of it done with excellence! I didn't think they could get any better but they have! Super job! Fan in USA
No doubt this is good music, showing just how good these High School students can be, both collectively and individually. And people seem to like this, and they won Gold at the National Competitions the same year. So what is there to feel uneasy about - nothing, if you like mellowed music. Down tempo with Winter Games , okay some like that. But I would ask people to compare, say, September and Singx3, with, say the 2018 Instrument Fair in Tokyo. Or compare some of the indoor concerts of May-June 2016 with the above performance. Both years are impeccably performed but there is a very different feel to them. The spark seems to have gone (and by that I don´t just mean tempo), the balloon seems to have deflated a little. This is music by the book, to the highest standards I confess, but not a book I would care to read often - unlike many other of their performances which I never tire of. If this brings success and happiness fine. To win Gold means so much to those girls. It would have been very very difficult to replace both the now retired Music Director, and the Band Director, with people of the same type. And so things will proceed in a slightly different direction - that is inevitable. I would have loved their visit to Taiwan, richly deserved, to have gone more with the vigour they took to the States in 2017-18, or some of the classic mall performances in Kyoto itself. But it could be horses for courses - I was disappointed to hear them play Entry of the Gladiators in Taiwan (with my background that is a tune associated with a cover for sub-standard entertainment, despite its martial origins) but they used it in their Gold winning performance so obviously there is cultural bias on my part (and maybe the judges have never seen the B side of circus clown performers.) But I have to praise the choreography in that Gold performance, especially the interlocking waves. And I did give this a "thumbs up" - these girls deserve that, but which performance will I be watching tonight? Something earlier than 2021 I suspect. For those who disagree with these comments - we all have different tastes, but take a look at a compilation of different bands playing Paradise Has No Border (I mislaid the link, sorry). KT had the edge and not because the others were lousy musicians, far from it, but their arrangement was superior. But entertainment is not to be just found in the musical notes on paper, it needs a touch - or a "da, da ,da," as the Band Director once told them, asking them to aim for the heavens, and that´s also when they won Gold, in 2015. I wish KT all the success in the future, and would thank them, from the bottom of my heart, for the memories. From a guy who can´t stand marching bands, or stuffed manikin concerts - unless it´s KT of course.
Brilliant---as ever !----but ,c'mon, we should not allow "woke" correctness to prevent Tachibana from being known as what it is :-- a GIRLS' Band ! The GIRLS founded and established it, and built it !==========just because the high school suddenly went co-ed after 2000 is no reason to deny the GIRLS possession of the band !!-- It belongs to them!!---and not to some faceless, politically-correct school bureaucrats. Let the girls have it as what it originally was: a GIRLS' band ! (The boys play excellently,and there is no reason they can't do their own thing.)...but do NOT steal the girls' band from them. IT IS THEIRS ! In the eyes of millions around the world, it is still the Tachibana Girls Band . Evil bureaucrats in Japan stole KABUKI from Izumo no Okuni, 80 years after she invented it and got it up and running ! ------We should not allow 21st century woke dictators to do the equivalent crime now !

当日、彼女達の右腕にはヒマワリのバッジが付けられていました。
ヒマワリは扶桑町の花だそうで、扶桑町をリスペクトする為に付けられたと思います。
そういった心配りも京都橘の魅力なんですね。
その話を聞いてハッとしました
ガーズの子たちが出番ではない時しゃがんで待機してるのを見て、普段なら横で待機してるのはずなのに曲の演出以外で立ち続けると観客の邪魔になるからなのではと。
ただでさえ狭い会場なので、そうであれば気配りの徹底がされているなと感じました

確かにそうでしたね。
ドリルステージは凄い人だかりで後ろの方達が見えないと言う事で、初めは前列の方も立って見て下さいと言われてましたが、急遽しゃがんで見る事になりました。
運営側もかなり大変だったでしょうが、京都橘さんの柔軟な対応が素晴らしくて大きな混乱は無かったと思います。
これ見ちゃうと、また歴代のsing,sing,singも見たくなって、
ループしてしまうんですよねぇ〜。

ハードスケジュールで愛知県扶桑町まで来てくれてありがとうございます、
当日は人が多く良く見えませんでしたが、いい撮影場所ですね、副部長のアナウンスもハッキリ分かります、ソロパートも良く聞こえます、
観客の人数と場所が少し狭いのが計算不足、役場の職員もふたを開けなければ分からなかったみたいです、
台湾講演で爆発的ブームを計算できなかったのが反省点だと思います、

演奏やダンス技術も常にアップグレードが感じられますが、地味に司会進行のレベルも数年前から比べると違いを感じる。
前任の田中先生が退職されてから主に生徒さんで行ってますが、声の質も良く落ち着いた雰囲気が高校生とは思えない！

私の頭は悪魔たちに憑依されて、あの映像と音が頭の中で浮かび鳴り響き続けてる。早くお祓いでもしてもらわないと持ちそうにない。

台湾招待後、人気が国内で爆発した感じ。以前は海外のコメントが70％以上だったのが、日本人のコメントが増えました。横山イズムを脱却したいだけど、人気だったファイアボールなど人気曲は復活させた方がいいと思う。

夜遅くすみません。オレンジ🍊デビル😈は2005 年位から呼ばれてます、コンテストとかで、ニコニコ笑いながら物凄い演奏と振り付けするので、競合他校から呼ばれる様に為ったそうです。それが何時の間にか世界中で、京都橘高校マーチングバンドの愛称として定着してます。確かにあちこちのマーチングで橘高校の後ろからの行進は嫌でしょうね😃主宰者さんが判ってる場合は橘はおおとりですね😃
