You don't Inherently need Dark Magician for Dragoon. If you want the pop effect on top of thr Omni Negate than yes lol but because you're running 3 Blazing Cartessia, add 2 Granguignol. You can tech in Duality. Grang is a level 8 Light Spellcaster, so you can use Duality to Tag it out for Dragoon, a level 8 Dark Spellcaster. Duality will also have other implications for your deck to, If your opponent stops you from Fusion summoning, than you can go the Synchro route, Get Spirit, tag Spirit out for Azure. Then Use Duality to Tag out Azure eyes, a Level 9 Light Dragon for Hot Red Dragon Archfiend Abyss. I do like the Deck profile, it's great, I've been debating on how to rebuild my own Blue eyes Deck recently. I'm leaning more towards Duality because it's soo dam cheeky lol and getting an omni negate on your opps turn is nice lol
Agreed I have a love hate relationship with duality but I probably should give it more of a chance because I do love the concept of what it does and it does offer way more versatility than a dark magician and being a quick effect is great how many do you recommend playing?
@yugioh94 that's a very fair take on it, it's got its faults for sure lol main reason I'm going to run it is because I find it very niche, cheeky, and if I have to side it out, I can for a better going 1st card etc 😊 Also, you can use Duality to recurr resources from the GY as well, and That bring me to my other suggestion lol Chaos Space, helps you get access to Bystial Lubellion, and it let's you recurr a banished resource as well. So you send shaddol apkallone from extra deck to grave by granguignol effect on summon, or off of nadir servant. Then you activate apkallones to add shaddoll schism to hand then discard one card. Then you use schism to fuse for winds by banishing the apkallone and one other dark monster from field or grave. Can also play other shaddoll elements as well like construct.
