I know i am late here but also Hyuna never really sounded like she does now at the start of her career. She got some lessons from LE from EXID you listen to her and Hyuna now compared to Hyuna's early days and they sound almost identical. Seems like now Hyuna is training Yeeun.
CLC actually wanted to do this concept and actually went to their CEO and asked to do this type of concept. So don't think it was forced on them or anything like that, just bc 4minute disbanded. Also, *fun fact* Hyuna "learned" how to rap by LE of EXID (or really changed how she raps bc of LE), which you can kinda tell if you listen to her older stuff and how she used to rap.
We didn't think CLC were forced or didn't want to do this concept... we were commenting on the timing of this concept after 4 minutes disbandment and the similarities between the new clc and 4minute/hyuna. We actually think this style and concept fits them much better than the cute concept they had before. We only hope they find their own unique sound and lane, and aren't in 4 minutes shadow is all :) Thanks for watching!

As for the girls name: The thick girl is Seunghee(leader), black hair girl Seungyeon, rapper Yeeun, the first girl Eunbin, blond girl Elkie(from hong kong), and fur coat is Youjin and u already my girl Sorn.

I only know Sorn and Elkie and have only seen one behind the scene CLC video (I think their Hobgoblin mcountdown stage) and Thickems and black hair really stood out to be dominant, confident and leader-like so instead of switching out leaders, they should have made them co-leaders.

I think the reason why Cube initially rejected the idea of having CLC debut with a girl crush concept was for the simple fact that they did not want them to be compared with 4minute at the time. More importantly, A Cube had left Cube entertainment; so Apink was no longer that representative cutesy girl group under Cube. My only issue with this comeback was not because Yeeun sounded like Hyuna but I felt as though this comeback was supposed to be the comeback after Crazy (too much similarity with all of the members). This should not have been their title track; their whole album is Fire and probably the best album I have heard so far as of 2017. The other songs on their album could have been a title track and than less comparisons would have been made. No matter what Yeeun does now she will be compared to Hyuna based on the fact that their vocal tones are wayyyyyyy to similar. I don't know if she will be able to stop herself from rapping like Hyuna raps because Cube has trained her to rap like that since the beginning. But I do think keeping the girl crush and not letting Hyuna write their next song would be perfect. That chick sounds like a carbon copy of Hyuna and no matter what she does, she will be compared to Hyuna and be forever in her shadow if she doesn't find her own lane. I am not gonna say that CLC is 4Minute 2.0 until they comeback again 'cause when Blackpink debuted, people said they were similar to 2NE1 but then when they came back with playing with fire and stay, we started to see how they actually differ from 2NE1. So yes, they sound like Hyuna/4Minute (can't be helped 'cause Hyuna co-produced the song and concept) but they might get their own identity eventually like BP have. Love this more than their cute-sy concept.
