- I wrote this song, "Gone, But Not Forgotten," the day after my dad passed away and sang it for his funeral last month. I just made this generic slideshow of it, thinking perhaps it could help others who have lost loved ones. (I'd made another slideshow with more photos of my dad.) I hope God's love and this song will bring comfort and peace. Here are the lyrics:

Beautiful song that I dedicate to my beloved husband who passed on 5 years ago. The memories and the love we shared remain in my heart. I realized that because we loved each other so deeply, the pain of loss also grows as days move on. But God's grace and peace sustain me to be productive and useful in life.
