細野さんと教授ほど、興味の多様性が似ている音楽家は珍しかった。
Subtitles need some working, at the beginning, where it is written "fist", it is actually a type of undulating melodic ornamentation used in folk songs. The confusion comes with the word which is spelled "kobushi" and can mean either this undulating melodic ornamentation (小節), or a feudal warrior (古武士), or a fist (拳). Despite this the documentary is spectacular and should be remastered !

Unfortunately, a lot of the working sessions/outtakes material for Omni Sight Seeing have never been released. I thought that for the 30 years of the release of the album, Hosono-san would release a double CD (like Sakamoto did for his School/Midi albums, and also his compilations/long-boxes of rare/unreleased material, with Commmons label) but… 😅 We just got a remastered version of the exact same album… A least, for the re-release of Swing Slow, we got a few bonus tracks… 😔 "Papa-san", your fans are begging you!! 😄 How about "Archives, volume 2"?? Volume 1 was released in 2008!! 😵💫😄
