Thought they closed Nemo now ?

It is closed. The y have no trespassing signs at the entrance. We played around at the entrance and took some videos but didn't go through.

Oh man, good thing we went there last year a month before they closed it, we enjoyed Nemo and surrounding trails

@@marcoalvarez4011 Yeah.....we had been planning to go for a while but kept procrastinating. Makes me sick that we missed out.

Yea it’s definitely experience, yoi shoulda went to gobey trail instead or to the old train trail and that’s a good experience too because you have to take your rig and drive it to the river but bad thing one mistake your rig will turn into a boat, when we went there I joined the group from Tennessee off road and local people toured us around and showed the great trails including that train trail I was talking about and also they guided us to windrock park, and the special one made new friends

Hate that it's closed. Is the trail system around Nemo tunnel also closed or can you get access to it via other routes?

You can drive up to the tunnel from both ends. The trail on the north side of Catoosa Rd. is pretty advanced in places but doable if you have a high clearance 4WD (this side has river access). The south trail is easy but nothing to see but the tunnel entrance.

@@dustybunnsoverlandandadventure nice. I went back a few years ago in a buddy's Land Rover Discovery, down to the water and under the bridge. Glad to hear some old trails are still open. I have a Jeep JLU with a 2" lift and 35s so I'll be fine. Nice 4Runner, btw. Wish they had a removable top option like the 1st gens and current Broncos and Wranglers.

Thanks. BTW, when we went on the north trail to the tunnel entrance there was a group of 3 or 4 vehicles that came through the tunnel. They did care too much for the no trespassing signs but we were afraid to risk it (I'm always the one to get caught doing something like that). I have been dying to go through the tunnel!

@@dustybunnsoverlandandadventure yeah I wouldn't chance it. I'm too much of a rule follower and in the end, it is private property and I don't want to disrespect someone else's land. The tunnel is cool, very dark, very spooky, but ultimately not super exciting. I thought the trail system around there was much more fun than the actual tunnel.

What front bumper and winch do you have? Great video!

We went with the Souther Style Offroad slimline bumper and Smittybilt winch with the synthetic line. Love it however, we had to do extensive mods to the front cover because their bumpers are mainly designed for the trail version 4 runners and we have a limited version. Would highly recommend the bumper and winch if you have SR5 or TRD versions. Thanks for watching.
