The show would have been great if PC woke brigade didn't interfere with the writing. The team was made by an atheist feminist, a black and a middle eastern who believes only in science. The white people are being depicted as evil and bad. Despite that, the woke brigade didn't help their cause. It did show that fatherless homes are prime targets of predators. We are living in an era of record high fatherless families, which is paradise for predators.

Kristen never found out about what Leland did to Andy. So, Andy fell in love with an addict because she was an Addict like him? Who wrote this segment, it made no scene at all. The very ending reminded me of the ending of the movie trading places when they all called each other with their new lives.

I also liked how in the final scene with Leland and Kristen, Leland is playing a song foretelling his own potential death. Little detail that really added to the scene as a whole.
Andy's character was destroyed very absurdly - explained by one silly line from the grandma - and after that character assassination, I really lost interest quickly. Him saving his daughter was very powerful for me only to 180 like some Disney show bullshit. The ending to this finale was way too rushed. 1. Andy flushed a shrunken head. It was something evil that seemed to then possess the plumbing or something. 2. Created with the intent of her being evil, but the influences around her have kept her basically good. 3. He's the Antichrist 4. No, but they are in a much stronger position than they were.
1. Andy flushed Edward's predecessor, which was given to Sheryl and she hid it under Kristen and Andy's bed. So I am guessing it was that evil spirit stuck in the system. 2. Lexis, I'm pretty sure she is evil but too young to show it, also she is always kept in check by her mother. But based on the profecies of Ellie, the entity, and Leland's plan. She will be the protector of Timothy.
3. I don't think we ever got that answer, but I think it could be that she is crazy, or Sheryl said something in the video which Kristen did not continue and shut off the laptop, about Timothy being the Anti-Christ. 4. The 60 did not win yet, but everything went according to Leland's plan. He always wanted Timothy to be in his biological mother's care. The 60 are definitely "winning", but they did not win yet, and too bad that we will never know.
I'm two months late I know, I just finished the series and I have mixed feelings about it. The writing was bad, and the writers relied heavily on the reader's imagination to answer plots and events, that were never answered.

@Misria12-14 same!! I kinda wanna see 👀 a combination of this show with Lucifer, and that show on Amazon Prime called Them, and Supernatural combined I would love to see 👀 that, I wonder what Lucifer would say with all the evil they witnessed
This was unquestionably the greatest series ending ever. No one died for shock value proving it is unnecessary. There is a certain closure yet ambiguity that allows story continuation. Fabulous
Well I disagree, it was the worst ending because nothing changed ben and Kristens opinion about everything going on. Ben he is a 50/50 guy but Kristen is the psychopath + she is the worst example of a single mother and out of 3 of them Kristen had the most events effected/chased her but it did not change her opinion about it a bit.
the ending was worse than I expected ,but in general along the 4 season it was very good chilling and thrilling episodes . What I'm going to miss the most is the smile of the gorgeous Kristen
my wife and I like this show but man, all 3 of them (the Assessors) are idiots! They never finally got hit in the face with the "Oh all this crap is actually REAL!?!? WHAAT?" Kristin was aggravating as hell, thinking everything was a metaphor or stupid hallucinations. And Ben's Djin was just a manifestation of the particle accelerator accident. Come on people.
and then they burn all the files of their work at the end and laugh about it as if it’s not serious evidence. amazing plot threads, completely ignored several episodes later and the characters never talk about their paranormal experiences with each other
Sister Andrea should have been part of the group, she would have took em all down. But Father Acosta whose job is to preach and believe, doubts her! 😂😂😂 make it make sense!!!
Netflix should pick up the series. Tricking us as the viewers to reintegrate us to the fact that the "ending" was part of the VR program . . .maybe. Why shows gotta be good and get cancelled all the time?!
I did enjoy the first 2 seasons but man the last season sucked! The way they ended the show with the 60 still free at large and how they made it look like Lexis is gonna have a major role but nothing happens to her (good or bad)...! and dont even get me started with Kirsten and David! I really hated the characters by the end of the show.. with David not being able to fight his temptation of lust and making it look like he'll probably end up leaving his priesthood and getting hitched with her.. and Kirsten! She's such a hypocrite, i mean she did Andy so wrong.. she flirted with David the whole series and they even kissed and she also slept with that "fake satan worshipper guy".. but when she finds out Andy is cheating on her and it's all because of her evil mother who got him kidnapped, drugged and manipulated and yet she doesn't even gives him a chance to explain! The fake that she cheated first doesnt even crosses her mind and infact i feel like she might've been happy when Andy was out of her life. Not forgetting that she killed a guy and no consequences falls on her is such a hypocritical writing. I felt like she's just as bad as Leeland but the writers with their victims attitude somehow making her look like a victim is such a bs of a writing. Wated four days on this show.
I have very mixed feelings. It was a good episode, but not a good finale. I'm also still irritated about how they screwed Andy. He was a good father and husband, but they just tossed him aside and forgot about him. He cheated, yeah, but so did Kristen, and at least Andy had been abused and manipulated first, leaving him vulnerable. Kristen saw enough of Cheryl's video to know that *something* happened to him but she still threw away their relationship even though she had cheated before him. Hypocrite. He also nearly killed himself to protect Laura and yet his kids don't even miss him, seeming to hardly even remember he existed. Fuck that guy, right? He was a victim and never received any justice. And despite the promise of "it won't end in a cliffhanger," it did, for all intents and purposes. And why did this season turn into a foot fetish show?
This whole show was rushed from time to time and you can tell where the writers hit a speed bump over and over again till they finally just said "eff it come up with an ending and let's move on"
I mean… Essentially we know the ending! The son grows up and his sister helps him bring destruction to the world through battles. That’s why future Laura wanted to kill him before it started.
Got so excited when I read about a spin-off featuring Sister Andrea. But it is more of an idea during an interview from the show co- creators. Searched all over the internet and found nothing released regarding the show outside of the interview where it was mentioned so sad.
If you take the story beats of S1-S2, in between each beat you could write the words “therefore” or “because”, but in S4 it seems like in between the story beats you could write the words “and then”. That’s why S4 has no pay off nor a solid landing. What a profoundly disappointing ending to what was a good show with good characters.
I absolutely loved this show. I think it could easily done two more years without getting old. I'm not one bit religious, but like most, I had religious training. Although how Kristen and Ben can still not believe or at least question the supernatural after all the shit they've seen is a wonder.
It was a great show. I wish Netflix, or someone, would pick it up. That being said, the ending was rushed in order to tie up a number of loose ends. Unfortunately many other things were left unresolved. For example, at one point Cheryl tells Leland that he's not the first demon that she has dated, does this suggest that Kristen's father may have been a demon, is this why she falls so easily into darkness? Ben's girlfriend with the manifested dead sister; what became of that? Doctor Boggs invited the demon into himself, what happened with that? The thing with the baby was unnecessary.
I LOVE this show! The characters and the actors are all amazing and the plots are clever and quite engaging! I'm sad to see the show come to an end, but it's best to end on a high note, leaving people wanting more, rather than people asking "is that show still on?"
I think this show more pushes for evil and kinda mocks God and makes the priest almost look like the bad guys and Leland reminds me of s Batman villain where they go to Arkham escape go back escape again then become the mayor i mean wtf
Can someone please help me forgive the finale. I like how this commentary helped me to understand more of the plot. But the last episode went off the rails to me. I dont like how some things were paid off. I wanted larue to have a callback for Kristen maybe leaning into the cps plot more. Bens demons bens sister
They should have done something different with Andy's character, or at least curbed Kristen's outrage over his affair... that happened in a mental hospital... after her nemesis drugged Andy and mind controlled him into almost killing his daughter. Andy heroically attempts to end his own life to save his daughter, but that doesn't matter. The only thing that matters is Kristen and her feelings. Midsommer anyone? Who cares that she fantasizes nightly about a co-worker. Or that she had an affair (not with David, but with another character earlier in the show, and without being under some kind of hypnosis). Her righteous anger completely shutting him out felt 100% like a poor plot device to get Andy out of the story completely, because he complicated the narrative, rather than a more natural disillusionment of their marriage. They should have just killed Andy's character with the needle plunge. He goes out a hero and the plot moves ahead. On limited time with the series ending, they could have easily skipped through a grieving process that would have typically taken several episodes, with the ever popular "six months later" or "one year later" announcement across the screen. Other than that though, pretty good show.
I love this show. I was hoping they would have beaten the goat demon in NY and then leave to Rome. Leland got what he deserves, if he didn’t like how the church treated him then he should had gone neutral.
Ending was a letdown mostly for me. Although at least some conclusion. Filled some plot holes, but very few. In the silliest way they dealt with leland.
Season 4 was the weakest, with about 3 very good psychological thillers and the rest just connecting tissue. About the best were the dancing coven and the haunted engineer (those actors did great work). I'm gathering S5 was to be the biggie, but got condensed to 4 episodes before Paramount TV shuts down, out of business, next year. So in reality the series wasn't cancelled, the studio was. Of the 4...about 2 were pretty exciting. Two...including the last one were not overwhelming...just OK. The ending was very much like MIB1...except with the baby sight gad.
Felt very meh, not fitting enough for a finale in my book. Needs another season set ten years in the future as the kid begins to gain his power with Leland’s spirit whispering in his ear…
The last episode was very disappointing and confusing as hell. Why did the baby turn evil again? The oldest child never learns to be responsible. It was bad.
WRONG THINGS: YOU CANNOT KILL A DEMON BY BARE HANDS OR RECITATION, IT HAS TO BE CONFESSING (SEEKING FORGIVENESS) + WHY DO THE PRIESTS TALK AND GO NEARBY THE WOMEN LIKE KRISTEN + THE OLD NUN SHOULD COVER WHOLE HER LEGS AND NOT HUG MEN... BUT SHE WAS THE BEST AND MOST INTERESTING ONE IN THIS, SHE IS THE ONLY REAL PERSON...
My father's name is Timothy ... O.o ... and I didn't "skip intro" this time, although I still don't know what those hands are covered with. And is 'the meeting place of the 60' the thalamus or the hypothalamus?
The social commentary was pretty heavy handed at times. It’s fine, but felt preachy and somewhat self righteous at times. Wasn’t always like that, but just at times.
Idk i didnt see it like that, in my opinion evil won the antichrist ended up at the Vatican and Leland is still alive and could escape and come back when the kid is 18 and boom end of times.
I'm not sure that it's "she can handle him" so much as "she is tainted with evil herself." Her behaviour all through the series suggests that she's a bit off.
The show was taken off the air because it shows reality as it actually is. With the algorithms and everything else. Everything that’s going on in the world. It’s a little woke. But it makes up for it. I loved it. Thanks to you I just noticed I have 4 episodes to watch. I thought ep 10 was it. Leaving us with a cliff hanger. The only problem I had with this show was the leading lady in it. She has seen so much but like any delusional person she believes in nothing. And she’s very off putting even when she’s trying to be cute. And she’s not a very good person no matter how the show tries to spin it. Everyone else is great except for her daughters who constantly scream and talk over each other. I know it’s meant to be funny but it should have been weaved out by season 2 or 3. Great show otherwise. I’m going to enjoy binging these lol. Thank you 🙏🏻.
I agree wholeheartedly that there were so many unanswered questions. I found this throughout the series. So many story lines were left unfinished. I watched the entire series because I felt like I should, but I wouldn't really recommend this show to anyone.
I cant believe they ended it like that. That was just pointless. Hopefully it stays cancelled since it was crap to begin with, but i got stuck in the Sunk Cost Fallacy and had to finish it.
And what about the other nun at the silent monastery.. wasn't that baby Timothy's surrogate mother? And wasn't her head chopped off during Leland's trial? Correct me if I'm wrong but that nun looks like her
Wait so Kristen cheats on Andy everything is ok. Andy cheats on Kristen it’s WW3. Man wtf was this show it’s so bad the writing is just so bad sometimes
This show was way too topical imo. They did not shy away from the agenda of "the good guys always lose" 🙄 If they wanted it to be modern, y'all could've done it better. AND WHERE ARE ALL THE DEMONS?!?

This was unquestionably the greatest series ending ever. No one died for shock value proving it is unnecessary. There is a certain closure yet ambiguity that allows story continuation. Fabulous
Someone died on chapter 10 or 11 and it was shocking
Well I disagree, it was the worst ending because nothing changed ben and Kristens opinion about everything going on. Ben he is a 50/50 guy but Kristen is the psychopath + she is the worst example of a single mother and out of 3 of them Kristen had the most events effected/chased her but it did not change her opinion about it a bit.
the ending was worse than I expected ,but in general along the 4 season it was very good chilling and thrilling episodes .
What I'm going to miss the most is the smile of the gorgeous Kristen
What is the name of the song that plays at the every end even into the credits?
Anything past season 1 is a hard grind to watch.
my wife and I like this show but man, all 3 of them (the Assessors) are idiots!
I only wish the show lasted a couple more seasons. Hopefully it gets picked up again. I wish they named Kristen’s doppelgänger Katja Herbers too.
This whole show was rushed from time to time and you can tell where the writers hit a speed bump over and over again till they finally just said "eff it come up with an ending and let's move on"
This show made supernatural seem like a good show 😂
I mean… Essentially we know the ending!
Who else would rather see Kristen’s ending over Leland?
I LOVE this show! The characters and the actors are all amazing and the plots are clever and quite engaging! I'm sad to see the show come to an end, but it's best to end on a high note, leaving people wanting more, rather than people asking "is that show still on?"
My only problem of this series it has been 4 series out and nothing changed about Kristen and Ben’s opinion about demon and stuff
This ending sucked and I wouldn't watch a new one no matter the platform. I only watched to answer some of the questions I had
I don't think any lingering mysteries got resolved.
I think this show more pushes for evil and kinda mocks God and makes the priest almost look like the bad guys and Leland reminds me of s Batman villain where they go to Arkham escape go back escape again then become the mayor i mean wtf
I love this series
I want more
The ending was ok. They did Andy wrong!
They didn't. Kristen was the titular evil all along.
They really did.
muy buena serie es una lastima que terminara, se extrañaran estos perosnajes
Can someone please help me forgive the finale. I like how this commentary helped me to understand more of the plot. But the last episode went off the rails to me. I dont like how some things were paid off. I wanted larue to have a callback for Kristen maybe leaning into the cps plot more. Bens demons bens sister
I totally agree. I did not like the ending and felt like a lot more could and should have been explained
Only watching these show because sister Andrea😂😂😂😂👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
i think there was never anything supernatural in the entire series. every demon that someone sees is just AR beamed into their brain.
All of season 4 disappointed me and i drug myself to the finish line out of a sense of completion rather than enjoyment.
Season 4 was all about Kristen's toes 😂
Ooh my ...we want another season... Now what are people watching???? Anyone with an idea of a series like this one???
Absolute BEST feet scene ever!!!
I didnt see this episode when this happen
Ending wasn't good.
Who is Mr. Gray?
That goat cgi was fn terrible 😂. Like cmon
The baby too at the end😂
Worse than the CGI was the obvious stunt double for Leland when Kristen stuns him and he falls over.
What a rushed ending 😊
Ending was a letdown mostly for me. Although at least some conclusion. Filled some plot holes, but very few. In the silliest way they dealt with leland.
The evilest character of the whole show was Kristen
I can't believe that was the end. WTH!! What happened with the Baby?? Did the daughter grow up to be evil? 😡
Evil ended up at the Vatican from whence it came from.
Nah I think Leland coming out of the box mistakenly and some how come out full demon to influence him would be perfect.
What ending was this? This is not the episode I saw!
I stopped watching series decades ago, but I liked this one!
This was the worst ending ever
Love the show. I love the ending. I love the fact that her son isn’t completely free but she can handle it. She’s a great mom.
I'm not sure that it's "she can handle him" so much as "she is tainted with evil herself." Her behaviour all through the series suggests that she's a bit off.
@@jcraigwilliams70 we are all a bit off. I can relate to her. Flirting with danger
How did Kristen know Leland was coming for her, did she hear him breaking in?
maybe the empty Margarita can in front of the basement door?
I’d assume it was because the entity told David the 60 would try to kill one of his assessors + maybe the vision the girls saw from the vr game?
Thank you 🙏🏻.
first two seasons very good then it went downhill quickly the writing was always borderline. Kirsten is the worse she is selfish and blind
I agree wholeheartedly that there were so many unanswered questions. I found this throughout the series. So many story lines were left unfinished. I watched the entire series because I felt like I should, but I wouldn't really recommend this show to anyone.
JUST BECAUSE THEY HAVE A GOOD IDEA DOESN'T AUTOMATICALLY MAKE IT GOOD WRITING OR STORYTELLING!!!!!
Well done finale
Not liking this ending, too vague. Needs another season or at least 2-3 more episodes
I cant believe they ended it like that. That was just pointless. Hopefully it stays cancelled since it was crap to begin with, but i got stuck in the Sunk Cost Fallacy and had to finish it.
So sad that this show is over
I stopped watching during season 2. All the episodes were the same.
And what about the other nun at the silent monastery.. wasn't that baby Timothy's surrogate mother? And wasn't her head chopped off during Leland's trial? Correct me if I'm wrong but that nun looks like her
That nun was not the surrogate mother.
This is not even fiction.
Wait so Kristen cheats on Andy everything is ok. Andy cheats on Kristen it’s WW3. Man wtf was this show it’s so bad the writing is just so bad sometimes
Malarrrrda
On god this one of the worst shows I ever seen in my life
No like fr it never got better it was just below mid the entire time
a very boring show about cathlics and athieast relating to their wants
Ben was the only good guy in the show.
This show was way too topical imo. They did not shy away from the agenda of "the good guys always lose" 🙄
If they wanted it to be modern, y'all could've done it better. AND WHERE ARE ALL THE DEMONS?!?
Shit show finale
