Many Prayers and blessings 🇨🇦 from 🇺🇲💯❤️ How devasting!
Prayer is inaction
@@ultrasometimes8908 sometimes 😂
My Prayers and Blessings to my Gramma's Country. Even if Canada wasn't part of our family I know how Canadians have come to our aid here in the States. I am so sorry. We must all step up and do our part in climate change. It's only going to get worse.
It's scary that a Hurricane can reach Canada. The ocean is warm enough to sustain them.
@@castlekingside76 Hurricanes are normal for eastern Canada, happens every year
@bonbonvegabon True but we've never seen like of this in Port aux Basques before. We're built to sustain the normal ones that devastate the southern states but this one was completely out of our range.
So sorry for you with all of this devastation.😪
Didnt realise tropical storms did so much damage way up north
I’m so sorry
How about we start building our houses from stone bricks instead of wood.
How about you come up with the money for that
Reinforced concrete even better
40 ft waves, wow
Nam myoho rengekyo 🙏 pray for peace
So sad😢prying for you
They are living way to close to that shoreline. It should be illegal for them to live that close to that shoreline
cant live your whole life based on 'just in case', some those houses been there twice as long as you been alive
They weren't living on the shore line the shore line is hundreds of miles from their houses. And it has a natural water break with built water breaks for waves too.
Many of those homes go back a hundred years or more and besides you have obviously not been there or you would know it is not that easy finding inland building sites in places like Port Au Basque, then take a look at the drone footage so you can see just how far INLAND those 30 foot or higher storm surge waves actually went. Might change your perspective.
We feel bad imagine we didn't spend mon on nu Lear weapons and had a bunker for home instead of cardboxes
Building houses with solely lumber in an area susceptible to hurricanes is silly. The Caribbean usually bounce back the next day.
For your information hurricanes are extremely rate in NL and also many of those homes were in the families for generations, why don't you try a little sympathy.
@@pansiestarker99 no they’re not. Many hurricanes go there to die.
How do you like that ocean view now
It makes me living in the snow belt of Ohio🇺🇲 Even much more appealing then it already is 💯 many blessings to 🇨🇦!! That really sucks 😩
We are newfie.
Newfies are tougher than you betas from Berta lol
Lol

Maritime Canadian English
I'm sure taxing canadians more will stop this from ever happening again, right justin?
Eat your crickets and shut up.
Yup, that carbon tax is working wonders--not!
Money grubbing thieves.
