This is my mom's favourite song, so I'm learning it in secret for her birthday on the 15th! Thank you so so much for your lessons, you helped associate learning the guitar as something fun and took a lot of the pressure of the challenge away. Thank you!
Hello Drue James, I'm just here to thank you for your videos. It have been helping me a lot with the guitar. I started playing it on July and I'm just evolving with your lessons. Keep going buddy! Wish you the best! Always dreamed about playing Kids -MGMT and Lose My Religion. So here I am and I just learned them because of you. Thanks a lot!
I absolutely love your tutorials! Started playing about two months ago and I'm finally starting to make some noticable progress :D Thank you so much! Will you maybe do a tutorial for something from Rise Against? Like "People live here" or "Swing life away" or "Hero of war"? Would be utterly amazing!
Oh life, is bigger It's bigger than you And you are not me The lengths that I will go to The distance in your eyes Oh no I've said too much I set it up That's me in the corner That's me in the spot-light Losing my religion Trying to keep up with you And I don't know if I can do it Oh no I've said too much I haven't said enough I thought that I heard you laughing I thought that I heard you sing I think I thought I saw you try Every whisper, of every waking hour I'm choosing my confessions Trying to keep an eye on you Like a hurt, lost and blinded fool, fool Oh no I've said too much I set it up Consider this Consider this, the hint of the century Consider this the slip That brought me to my knees, failed What if all these fantasies come Flailing around Now I've said too…
Hi drue love how this video is so honest it shows how even the experts still can get it wrong some times I know I am a bigginer still and make mistakes like wrong string ect but when videos like this I often think god how do they play so perfect all the time must take years of practice like becoming a Buddhist monk start at birth reach prime at 60 so never feel I have a chance being a late starter at 46 but my question is can you remember how long it took you has a begginer to learn a song to a playable stranded that you was happy with and now your at a professional standed how long does it take you to practice new songs do you find that now it may only take a few attempts to get it all in order I'm learning this one and whisky in a jar I find the change from power chords to normal all fingers and thumbs at the moment I'm also doing my girl that's ok a part from trying to remember all the different changes I slip up when playing just interested how long it generally took you before you started to see bigger and better improvement in your playing abilities as I'm quite hard on my self and always pushing my self to be a better player just want that happy medium playing so others know what I'm playing

thanks for this great tutorial... gonna learn this
Oh life, is bigger
It's bigger than you
And you are not me
The lengths that I will go to
The distance in your eyes
Oh no I've said too much
I set it up
That's me in the corner
That's me in the spot-light
Losing my religion
Trying to keep up with you
And I don't know if I can do it
Oh no I've said too much
I haven't said enough
I thought that I heard you laughing
I thought that I heard you sing
I think I thought I saw you try
Every whisper, of every waking hour
I'm choosing my confessions
Trying to keep an eye on you
Like a hurt, lost and blinded fool, fool
Oh no I've said too much
I set it up
Consider this
Consider this, the hint of the century
Consider this the slip
That brought me to my knees, failed
What if all these fantasies come
Flailing around
Now I've said too…
Mate, this is amazing! Thank you!
Cheers Drue I am getting there, realy love it when you can start to hear it.
