I live in Upstate NY and I SWEAR by the creams......❤ the creams.....IMO, It holds fragrances, Oils, And body spray so well!!!!!
I live in Florid, with the weather being mostly hot and humid, I use lotions more than body creams or body butter. I stock up on lotions and with the body creams I buy one of each scents from fall and winter. I hardly buy body products from January to Summer. Unless it’s a gourmand scent. lol Thank you for sharing your information about the three body care products Bonnie!
I appreciate so much that they changed their formulas to eliminate some toxic preservatives and formaldehydes. I went right at a decade not being able to use their products due to severe allergies to those things.
I tried the body cream in our long table… oh my goodness, aside from being shiny, smells really good too 😁❤️. Plus the smell last long like a week . I used Midnight Amber Glow 😊
My experience is the body creams definitely go bad sooner so I no longer buy several of them at once. I've had to throw out quite a few over the years because they went bad before i could use them.
I wish I can use scented body products. I have really bad eczema and hasn’t to stay away from fragrance body products. Will stock up for gifts though.
Luckily, I can use the mists but I try to spray on clothing and not on my skin. Eczema sucks 😢
Cream is my go-to and just got into the body butter. Would like more scents available but they’re nice, very moisturizing and some have a glitter.
Great video showing the differences. I have some creams especially the ones containing vanilla turn yellow but still are good. Have had only one cream I discarded in Twilight Woods,was probably 3 years old and when I shook it you could feel the separation.
I take the fragrance beads (imo ,they don't do much for laundry),&I put them in the small sachet like satin/mesh 'favor'bags from the dollar store!Double them- & we now have Twisted peppermint scented socks& Tdhirts! lol

I've stopped even purchasing lotions and body creams, but I'm gonna get 6 body butters to use in the months ahead if they are included in the body care sale. I love the body butters so they won't be left sitting. 😊
Do the butters go bad as fast as the cream?
@s.r6331 I'm not sure as I use them up quickly. But Bonnie said in the video that she keeps them 2 maybe 3 years and if they start to turn, she tosses them.

The body butter is almost always included in the Body Care day sale, so let's hope they give us that again this year as well, I want to get a few too 😊

I second the point that the lotions can last a good 5 years. Most of my creams have lasted 6 months to 1 year. Definitely do the shake test, rather than worrying about color. If it sloshes around, its starting to separate and go bad. Before it separates, the cream usually will not slosh around in the tube, even with airspace, whereas once it starts separating, it will slosh around even if there's basically no airspace.
I love the cream & body butter. Not a fan of the lotion. Wish they had more scents available in the body butter.

Hi Bonnie! I have been shopping at BBW I would say since the early 2000's on and off. BBW expanded into Canada since 2008 I believe which is surprising as I feel like BBW has been in Canada much longer. BBW and White Barn stores as common in most malls. I do find shopping at BBW then was a different experience as it is now. It's a bit overwhelming now in comparison I would say as there are so many more BBW fragrances/product available. I remember Sweet Pea for example was sold as hand soap for Halloween one year. I generally stay away from body creams as I don't used them fast enough. They go bad faster than lotions. I pick up lotions from time to time, but not often. I picked up Vanilla Bean Noel and Twisted Peppermint in the lotions this year. They are so good this year. I find the lotions last longer. I do plan on picking up Vanilla Bean Noel in the body butter this weekend. For the most part I stick with mists as these will last the longest. I also pick up shower gels as I use these up faster. My oldest mist is Sweet Cinnamon Pumpkin from 2013 and still smells okay. It's starting to have that alcohol smell, but I only kept it for the packaging.
I don’t mind if the body cream is light beige, but I draw the line when they’re neon yellow. I just can’t. Lol
Hi Bonnie, I prefer bodycreams & body butters over the lotions. Even though the bc doesn't have a long shelf life I do like the thickness & formula. I also have been a BBW user for years. I used to work there too, it was such a fun job ! Ty for the comparison review. Have a GN. 🤗💚🎄❤️

I live in the high desert so I am a body cream and body butter girl 95% of the time. I use body butters after a bath or shower, and creams when a butter isn’t available in that scent or it is peak summer. I get lotions of scents I love that may not come back because they have a longer shelf life.
I’m always dealing with dry skin no matter what the season is. So I double up with my Avon skin so soft and the body cream or the body butter on top. I go through body cream pretty fast as I use it at least 3x a day or dust with it. I’m definitely going to take advantage of body butters for body care day since that’s the better deal. I try not overbuy as much as I used to, because the body creams breakdown fast. My enchanted candy potion had to be tossed after only six months, but my wicked vanilla woods in the body cream was just fine and I bought those at the same time.

I use body cream everyday! I have watched your videos on using body cream to clean / dust your home. I give the lotion out as gifts too! Bonnie I love the body butter..Heaven! I wish that there were more body butters to choose from. I love the ones with some glow. The body butter is great for scent & because it feels great ! Great for that summer glow & feel great ! In the winter ❄️ in Iowa I use the body butter for dry skin. I agree with u on creams , they separated for after a while. My body butter never goes to waste! Thanks for your thoughts on body care ! I prefer the body creams over the body lotions for sure. I actually haven't tried the body butters too much but I may pick some up on body care day. I am in love with Carried Away.. I just used my app reward to get the fine fragrance mist of it and it's just beautiful! Also, totally unrelated, but have you noticed how Bright Christmas Morning smells pretty much EXACTLY like Champagne Toast!? I'm kind of new to your channel so I have no idea if you've ever mentioned the comparison before.. I've always been a fan of BBW since like middle school in the late 90s but in the last couple months I've become like obsessed and I love your videos! Great and refreshing personality 😊
My "Gymboree" 17 ur old just said-> think-> consistency= Ketchup,pudding, & whipped cream cheese 😂. She sprays a few drops of 'perfume, FF, into middle of body butter tub( sometimes even a Jo Malone) too lightly blend them..( not too much )& ,they use FF as a 'room spray" ,spritz bday cards,& tissue paper,& pillows😵💫

I still prefer the lotions. Easier to apply and last longer.
Personally I prefer the body lotions most of the year, and body butters on occasion. The body cream formula I don't like as much, and most of them go bad really quickly.
I use the lotion on my feet before bed. I tried the body cream but it made my feet slippery in the shower in the morning. I love the cream on my arms, legs and hands. I keep a mini cream in my purse. I haven’t tried the cream to polish my furniture yet!
Since I live in the south where it tends to be hot all of the time I just put my tubes in the refrigerator door and when I am ready to use it I just take it out before I’m ready to use.
How many can the door hold and is that the only amt you buy? Where do you put your extras?
@@juliemcdaniel499 I have anywhere from 12 to 18 those are just the tubes. I don’t buy a lot of the lotion because it really does nothing for me. I have a cool area where most of what I have is placed.
Some lotions are a little thick like in the stars. I use both. I find the bb scents are lighter than the lotioñs and bc so I use the lotions with the bb that are light in scent
I am a cream girl. Only a few have gone rancid over the yrs. The lotions barely see me. The body butters are for after shower massage time. I save the glotion for clubbing & lingerie time😮. The oils I use with lotion & cream.
What method do u use to use your creams up b4 they go bad?
@@juliemcdaniel499 Honestly I use them throughout the day & on my willing patients at the nursing home I wk in. I quit buying backups. I use a fave up then buy again if needed. I also share with my 24 yr old daughter 👀
What is your opinion on the glotions?
I love body butters and make my own. I just mixed up a batch and added Fireside Flurries & Sugar Plum lotions to scent it. The smell combo is amazing 🎊 ❤ I think I want to try Winter Candy Apple body butter because I love the spray so much 🎉

I prefer the lotions...I just finished up a VBN that really turned in color...I noticed it with the ones that have vanilla in it...I just quit buying pretty much all bodycare til I use up what I have😊...I hate waste...I have an old travel size of Velvet Tuberose that I bought on ebay a long time ago...it's still good...but I wouldn't buy it again...even though it's my all time favorite scent 🎅🎄🤶

i bought 3 snowflakes and cashmere in January during the semi annual sale and i had too discard of it because it became spoiled . i prefer the body butter its thicker and most of all very moisturizing i live in jamaica 🇯🇲 where is tropical all year round so its body butter #1 ....# 2 lotion....#3 body cream on my ranking . I wish BBW had more body butters ( no glowtions) in more fragrances that match more of the fragrance mist. Dark Kiss, Cozy Vanilla Bourbon, Dahlia, Strawberry Snowflakes, Christmas Cookies, Wrapped in Vanilla,etc......just to name a few. Sometimes surprise us BBW with additions to Body Butters. 🙂
Just purchased pumpkin cupcake off mercari, the body cream and the mist. It was the one in the teal packaging. The cream smelled great in the bottle, but once applied it smelled awful like dusty, or just old. So sad it went bad before I could enjoy it. And why would a seller sell that!
I never noticed ur desert island scent SPC doesn't come in a bbutter lol. I'm not n2 the bbutters like that prob bcuz they don't have a large variety but I will buy a few on sale. U didn't talk about the glotions.
I did a test where on one half of my body, I used the lotion and the other half I put body cream. No difference whatsoever in terms of how they moisturized my body. BUT the body cream that I picked up (Dream Bright) is already going *bad while the lotion is perfectly in tact. I bought these at the 3.95 sale. I even asked my friend to feel my arms to see if there's a difference. He chose the lotion side as softer though lol but to me, they felt the same. edit: Sometimes the body cream smells off on the skin but the lotion is always the same.
TLDR; moving away from body cream and here's why.
I love the cream but it goes bad so fast with the new formula. 😢

Bonnie, can you make a video about shipping issues with BBW ? I keep having my items never leave the warehouse and several days later the order is marked as a return. When I contact them they tell me they can't reorder the items for me at the same price because the order was returned. When I chat with them online and they won't help me, they disconnect the chat abruptly and don't leave a way to leave a survey or review for my experience with them. This keeps happening with my online orders! If I call, I get someone that I can't understand that doesn't speak English as their first language. I'd like to know if this is happening to anybody else? And approximately where they are located or which warehouse typically ships to them. I'm in middle TN and KY just did this to my order

I have to say, the strawberry Pound Cake lotion and body cream stink to high heaven. They smell burnt or smoky or dusty or something. I can't even give them to the women's shelter in good conscience. There is another creator who uses her body cream in the shower.
