Grew up there while the"old Pavillion" was still there and there was a well on the Hylan Blvd side of the Conference House/Billopp House. Great placeto grow up.

There was a club at the foot of Yetman Avenue on the beach that my Father and his buddies built after they returned from WW11. The Tottenville Yacht Club. Grew up there. Wish I could come across some old videos of that club and the beach. When I was very small there was a lifeguard up on a stand and a small confection stand selling candy and soda right on the beach. . All gone now. It was nice.
