Somi dropped the bomb with her new album.. Xoxo and dumb are masterpieces as well as other b sides tracks as watermelon. She deserves it all!! Wish the I.O.I. girls all the best❣️
chungha is so far from being it girl.. look at jennie. shes much more popular, pretty, can rap, sing, dance, and has amazing stage presence chungha cant even get 100m views on any of her flop comebacks, and she cant rap or sing and has no stage presence compared to jennie.. her dance is only decent and is far worse than lisa
i think right now somi is on the verge of getting a massive breakout as a soloist internationally. shes popular and well loved in korea but i think somi could be the first kpop soloist to be known worldwide, kind of how everyone knows bts as a boygroup and blackpink as a girlgroup. theres no soloist in kpop who has that same status of fame internationally and i think if she plays her cards right, she could get there.
As someone who lives in the States, Psy was really only known as a one hit wonder over here because none of his songs past Gangnam style became popular, which I don't know why since they all have the same amazing energy that attracted people to Gangnam Style. And I had no idea who IU was before I really got into Kpop. They're both amazing and talented but I think knowing English wl give Somi the same advantage Blackpink has with the international market.
