Somebody said something about "go go music" and this song popped in my head. I was in 8th grade when I first heard this on MySpace. I am now 31 turning 32 in about 10 days. Be blessed everyone 😘🙂
Ah so your responding to your sleeper cell programing to I to remember this in 8th grade and am about the same age see you and the rest at the titan building in New York in 8 months have a good one and see you later
I found them back in 2004 when I wandered into a hole in the wall anime shop and found one of their cd's in a bargain bin and I've been trying to follow them the best I could ever since.
My quest has come to an end! For the past 15 or so years, I have been trying to find this music video ever since I saw it on Myspace (Tom's page, if I recall correctly) before leaving for a family beach trip, and have failed to find it until today, July 14th, 2024. Scrolling through Facebook, I see a post from a local record shop regarding new-used records they'd received in, and as I scroll through the images of each album, I see "Polysics - We Ate The Machine," and I swear my brain just e x p l o d e d. I knew right then and there it was them! So naturally I made my way to TH-cam and found the exact music video i've been searching for all this time. Pure nostalgia.
My god the nostalgia. Didn't remember where I heard this originally but as everyone is saying it was on Tom's Myspace page back in the day, I imagine that must be where. Teenage me was in love with this band. As for why I'm here now in 2018, the brain is a curious thing. I died in FarCry 5 and, being out of coffee and in a pissy mood, I ragequit and closed the game. As I did so, this song flashed into my head. Why? Why brain? Odd. I'm going to the store to buy more coffee. See ya in another decade or so, Polysics.
This comment goes out to my old friend Spencer Workman who showed me this song back in middle school (2007ish?). I haven't seen him in years but I'm still listening man!
@@Vitorio582 it feels like a really long time since I made this comment. Speaking of childhood, I moved out of my parents house! Thanks for reminding me of this banger of a song 🍻 cheers!
Thanks for posting this fun video, Sony and Polysics! Very well assembled video, combining both classic, and novel, elements, with a nod toward something we've all dreamed of for many years: starring in a quality anime based on you. I liked it and will link it around.
When I was a freshmen at high school in 2004 I saw a poster of them in my art class that’s how I found out about them especially cause I loved their glasses
oh my god i love you i love you i love you! Watashi wa anata o aishite! this video has been off of TH-cam for so long, i missed it so much :') i am so happy that you guys made a Vevo and added some of the videos that were previously removed from other TH-cam sources
i thought about this song for like weeks and couldn't remember any lyrics, or the band name so i couldn't find it. but today i finally found it after remembering they all wore matching orange jumpsuits and im so happy i found them again
Polysic is genius with no manuel or rules book...these guys pack more riffs and swithups than any other band I've ever listened too, by far...I mean, these guys out funk, out riff, out jam 99℅ of any band out there... would love to see a live show
I saw them in Houston when they were promoting "Now Is The Time". They played this song and they rocked it. I bought a copy of the CD from Hayashi personally and got his autograph on the front cover. I didn't stick around long enough to get signatures from the others. Wish I had, as that was when Kayo was still with the band.
Not weird ....... just pop rock...... every country has an artist or group thats kinda out there with their music videos. Think outside the fuckin box people. This is a great band !
Brigadier Lethbridge-Stewart A few songs into a Polysics binge, before I saw this comment, I googled Japanese Devo just to see, and the wiki article for these guys was the first result. XD
September 2023 and this is still awesome!!

Settle down, okay?
I hear this masterpiece for Tom myspace, "thank you Tom"...

I used to listen to this a lot back in school, still as great as ever
13 years later still desperate to see POLYSICS live! I missed so many chances when you were coming to the UK regularly because I was a skint teen D:
2024 and this is still awesome!!!
i don't listen to / watch Polysics stuff much, but when i do, and I'm in the right mood, i feel like they're the most fun band ever!
They really are! I need to listen to them more often.
Am I the only one here who still miss Kayo?
-
Whatever, Polysics still rocks! Wish that someday I can see them in Brazil.
Hell yeah, I thought she had an awesome stage presence. Such great chemistry as a band.
Actualy, i wanna see 'em in Russia.
They could make a vocaloid of her and use an hologram in stage....
8 years late ... Not the only one
Popcap:Did you do find the song

Popcap: What did it cost?
Me: 3 Years and getting nerfed

This is not fucking J-pop. This is more.
This is Devo.
