I like how the song isn't just about the monster, but about the true terror of being wielded into a submarine and going beyond it's limits in a ocean of blood.
It goes beyond that, you're doing all that while the rest of the entire universe is empty and the only sign of life that hasn't been quietly snuffed out instantly, is an ocean of human blood..that you are in.
I feel like Stupendium's lines are the pilot talking to the ones still in orbit. Even if there's no way in hell that they can hear him, he still curses them from the depths of the ocean.
I love how "Where we've been inside introduced a lead, you'll emerge alive? No guarantee." describes not only the fact they've discovered several blood oceans, but also how it is just an execution and not for any real purpose.
I love that chorus "This is not an expedition, This is not a cry for help, This is not a real mission, Yeah, your lying to yourself, When it comes to execution l, Here's a story you won't tell, You will get your execution, But you won't be freed as well." Love it.

I love how it feels like Gridline and Stupendium are both giving different messages, You’d think it’s just an expedition, but after searching far enough, you’ll find out you’re nothing but a lab rat. The phrase “phantom light is fading” is quite clever too, as the game’s soundtrack has a song called “ghostlight”. A ghostlight being a single light in a theatre left on while the rest of it remains completely dark. You’re the one standing in the light. The light that eventually switches off completely. I’ll stop now.
"Phantom light" or "ghost light" also refers to light from dead stars. Since the stars in the universe of Iron Lung all vanished, the only star- or sunlight available is of this kind.

This perfectly captures the game. EVERYTHING in this song captures it perfect. The slow but unnerving background music, the vocals literally stating that basically 'all hope for living is lost, this is not a call for help, it is your death.' is crazy correct.

I love how the dark tone of this song excellently replicates the tone of Iron long. It’s almost violent in a way I can’t describe, much like the color pallet only consisting of shades if gray and red. Also my god are the rhymes incredible, they really help in conveying the general theme of Iron lung without spoiling anything, absolutely outstanding work!

this is absurdly good when i think 'iron lung' i expected something low and mellow, something akin to tryhardninja's subnautica song but holy shit you subverted that expectation SO well, the main chorus absolutely slaps (and is also a really good choice of singer, stupes is SO good for that kind of stuff) and meanwhile the rest of the song perfectly captures the feel of dark, gritty, spiteful despair of the game
To be honest, this song represents the game pretty well. The game has a sense of suspense that keeps building and building until the jumpscare. This song gives me that exact feeling.

I'm obsessed with this song since I've heard it a few hours ago You're underrated, I don't understand how you haven't become popular like Tryhardninja or JT Music yet
Yeah. This is the definition of being criminally underrated. His songs feel even unique compared to other songs about games, and that's definitely for the better. I just can't get the Iron Lung and Want some fun songs out of my head. Especially Want some fun, has been stuck with me for 2 months..
How in the everloving fuck did you manage to convey such terrifying concepts through a song. Not only did you perfectly allude to the theme, not ONLY did you sneak parts of the game into the song, but you have managed to do so while making an absolutely amazing beat that mixed with the lyrics somehow conveys existential dread, and the sheer insignificance of any form of resistance to some massive cosmic thing. How?!
I clicked on the video while on a Stupes binge, and *OHHH* this song has a BEAT on it! "Down deeper in the deep deep darker depths of Sea" The way the beat perfectly aligns with this part gives the best feeling while listening! This song is a an absolute banger!
I love how dark this song is, it very much gives off the vibes an Iron Lung song should. The start reminded me a bit of your other song This World Of Mine with the sort of bit crushed sounding music, but my expectations could never have prepared me for such a great song! Instant like by the end.
I love the beat/flow of this song. It's like the anxious heartbeat of the pilot/prisoner -- down in the depths, they only have *that*, the moans and wailing of Something just outside that thin wall of metal, and the creaking of the sub as it struggles under pressures it was never made to withstand to keep them company.
This song feels like exactly what Iron Lung is. There is but a few sheets of old, rusty metal between you, whatever monster is out there, and the certain fate of drowning in blood.
The coolest thing I find about your songs are the fact that even those people who do not understand the references can still enjoy the song as it slaps and the choice of words are slightly differing from the source yet still conveys the same meaning for those who know
I've had this song on a loop for a full 2 days now. You capture the descent of the unknown and the fear of it perfectly. The fear of not knowing what's there, knowing it's a suicide mission/execution, etc. I love this song. You've got yourself a new fan dude.
I can't explain how chilling the chorus is. All of the song is brilliant, but the chorus is just so well done and expertly replicates the feeling of the game
I didn't wake up thinking I needed an Iron Lung song, but I sure love it now! Gets a nice mix of tones in there, covering both the wider universe of the game, and the busy work in the sub!
I know nothing about this game, but this song is awesome! I’ve been hoping for a while that you’d do a collab with The Stupendium because you two are my favorite artists, and this is such a treat to listen to!
I think it hits so hard cuz it constantly so greatly with the previous line. Like the line before describes enmense amounts of pain and stuff. And then this one goes and that’s the minor case! And it rhymes too which is always delicious
This is literally the first time in a while song made me feel legit freaked out and unsafe. The chorus and lyrics are amazing and I feel like this WOULD'VE been a catchy and fun yet morbid song like most fan songs, but it's the exact opposite because it perfectly captures the tone of Iron Lung: that dread and despair of knowing that this was a suicide mission and that true terror of pure helplessness...not because of the monster, but because you're basically stuck in a makeshift submarine with the intend of execution with no one to save you and pushing it beyond its limits and drowning in a sea of blood. That visual of the Iron Lung filling with blood as the eerie background vocals come to a crescendo made my chest feel tight and I just felt so...horrified. Like, this is taking all the fears that were what made Iron Lung so scary in the first place: knowing that you were going to die either way, the fear of the unknown, thalassophobia, claustrophobia, submechanophobia and this feeling of overwhelming sense of visceral dread and hopelessness just leaves creates this primal fear that you feel with Iron Lung itself: *Helplessness.* Maybe I'm looking too deep into it but I am STILL trying to calm down and ease my breathing. Absolutely amazing work.
Howdy to you! Astonishing job! I really like the heavy feeling that this song provides! Keep up the amazing work! thank you for making this! ill for sure will be listening to this plenty of times!❤🧡💛💚💙💜💫💫💫
This song just came out swinging. Absolutely amazing. I cannot wrap my head around the speed of the rap, the voice just being perfect for the rap and the chorus both, and the deeper lying meaning behind ever word. This song is too underrated. phenomenal!
Bro this PERFECTLY captures the horror of Iron Lung... Nothing extremely creepy, but just unsettling like the atmosphere of Iron Lung. Also good job on getting Stupendium on this! Amazing work friend.
This is very, very quickly becoming my favorite song. Just the steady rising crescendo, the genius rhyming, the indescribable feeling of absolute dread… all mixed into one beautifully terrifying bop that gives me more dopamine then I have had in a while. Spectacular job! You definitely just found yourself a new subscriber!! ❤️❤️❤️
I was just looking for the Iron Lung OST for ambiance while I write but I guess I wrote song instead and found this absolute MASTERPIECE and have been happy stimming with it on loop for the past few hours. It's a song I could listen to for forever, I love it so much!!
I recently found myself jamming to a lot of awesome sounding songs. Somehow, I did not make the connection that every one of them was recommended to me from your channel. Now that I realize, I've corrected the egregious error of not being subscribed. Can't wait to see what you make next.
The song sounds like its being sung by a god who already knows what's going to happen. They have every answer you need-- but they're not going to give them to you. You might as well give up hope. "Doesn't matter who you send in, doesn't matter where you dwell, the phantom light is fading and you'll never break the spell. When it comes to mass extinction you don't know how far you fell."
I really like the pressuring intensity of lyric delivery... Makes it feel even more claustrafobic... And the use of warning alarm inside the beat is a fantastic idea!
This reminds me of that one pokemon song, the low HP one, where the beat is the injured sound in pokemon. This is like that, the bassline/beat just gives you that sinking feeling, and as a pokemon player I feel it. However, unlike the low HP song in pokemon, this is actually calming for some reason.
Holyyy, i've heard about iron lungs before but i never play it, this song actually makes me very excited about the game, i absolutely love this song! :D good job
I didn't really find myself interested in Iron Lung (the game) when it came out. This song's good enough that I'm at least considering checking it out. Either way, I'm playing this on loop while enjoying some other games. Pairs well with Cruelty Squad. A weirdly visceral yet chill experience, and it got me to check out some other stuff you made. You've got more than just the vehicle, as far as subs go.
Holy crap in three songs you went from sounding like Stupendium to featuring him in a video! Though ironically in a song style more like JT Music haha. Jokes aside, love how oppressive the song feels. The chorus sounds exactly like intrusive depressive thoughts closing in, like the main character is trying their hardest to have some hope and failing. God and love how everything fades at the end except one synth that sounds like an oxygen alarm.
Low-key sounds like quandale dingle. Seriously though, Might just be one of the absolute best game-based song. Every single thing is absolute perfect, the lyrics, tone, visuals, vocals, All of it! Excited for the next one!
this is literally the best song i’ve ever heard! the rhythm is amazing and the beat is super good! i found this a day ago and i’ve been listening nonstop from then on!

I didn't wake up thinking I needed an Iron Lung song, but I sure love it now! Gets a nice mix of tones in there, covering both the wider universe of the game, and the busy work in the sub!
How are you such an amazing artist with so many collaborators yet the TH-cam Algorithm shuns you for the most part.
Amazing job! I’m shocked you were able to get stupendium on another one of your songs!
I'm absolutely in love with the thumbnail
I know nothing about this game, but this song is awesome! I’ve been hoping for a while that you’d do a collab with The Stupendium because you two are my favorite artists, and this is such a treat to listen to!
They also did a Collab 2 years ago where the stupendium is the lead singer, it's called keter qualities
1:15 idk why but that line delivery is just so good I can't stop replaying it.
🎵a minor case of mismatched Coordinates🎵
I think it hits so hard cuz it constantly so greatly with the previous line. Like the line before describes enmense amounts of pain and stuff. And then this one goes and that’s the minor case! And it rhymes too which is always delicious
Such a masterpiece, those musics are getting better and better !
Like, this is taking all the fears that were what made Iron Lung so scary in the first place: knowing that you were going to die either way, the fear of the unknown, thalassophobia, claustrophobia, submechanophobia and this feeling of overwhelming sense of visceral dread and hopelessness just leaves creates this primal fear that you feel with Iron Lung itself:
*Helplessness.*
Maybe I'm looking too deep into it but I am STILL trying to calm down and ease my breathing. Absolutely amazing work.
Wow. Hahahah. Stup is here too. So cool heh
What a track! So loud for how quiet the actual game is, but so perfectly unhinged to match the source material! Incredible!
Howdy to you! Astonishing job! I really like the heavy feeling that this song provides! Keep up the amazing work! thank you for making this! ill for sure will be listening to this plenty of times!❤🧡💛💚💙💜💫💫💫
awesome Song!
its incredibly fitting and its amazing to listen to!
its a crime that i didnt know this song existed until now.. You're amazing and i've loved Stupendium for years
Truly terrifing song. It gives the creeps but it's beautiful at the same time and makes you listen to it many times.
wait.... this only has 17k views? WHY? this is great, and I hope you get the sub+view count you deserve
Now 120K Views

I don't even know what to say. This song is a sacred masterpiece on so many levels I can't even describe. No words. Only chills.
This song just came out swinging. Absolutely amazing. I cannot wrap my head around the speed of the rap, the voice just being perfect for the rap and the chorus both, and the deeper lying meaning behind ever word. This song is too underrated. phenomenal!
This was fun to discover and listen to on a ship where you can see nothing but open ocean in all directions
Bro this PERFECTLY captures the horror of Iron Lung... Nothing extremely creepy, but just unsettling like the atmosphere of Iron Lung. Also good job on getting Stupendium on this! Amazing work friend.
I love the almost phonk like bass, it just goes so hard 💀
This is very, very quickly becoming my favorite song. Just the steady rising crescendo, the genius rhyming, the indescribable feeling of absolute dread… all mixed into one beautifully terrifying bop that gives me more dopamine then I have had in a while. Spectacular job! You definitely just found yourself a new subscriber!! ❤️❤️❤️
This is such an earworm! I love it, keep doing great!
Literally
I love that stupendium Collab with so many people
This isn't a reference to the sub right?
@@Slicerss ?
@@isaiahrodgers5019 Ok, glad you didn't say he did a Collab with the Titan sub
@@Slicerss 0.0 I didn't even consider that at all
Now there's a film being made. Hopefully they'll ask you guys to make music for it.
I was just looking for the Iron Lung OST for ambiance while I write but I guess I wrote song instead and found this absolute MASTERPIECE and have been happy stimming with it on loop for the past few hours. It's a song I could listen to for forever, I love it so much!!
Amazing!
Such a hard game to make a song for. You did amazing!
And you have The Stupendium in it! Awesome!
I understand nothing about this game, or the lyrics, but man is this fire.
Bro, this is a perfect song for Barotrauma... Like, not simply the music, the lyrics too!
whenever you make a song it hits SO HARD
Actually haunting, great job!
Lethal Company exists in the same universe as Iron Lung and you CANNOT convince me otherwise.
Yes!
This guy definitely isn't meeting quota with that sub tho
I really like the pressuring intensity of lyric delivery... Makes it feel even more claustrafobic... And the use of warning alarm inside the beat is a fantastic idea!
Love it, keep em coming.
Only feedback is the line "metal, steel, and copper" is a bit redundant, personally I sub in "welded steel and copper"
This would really be good with a pressure animatic
listening to the song 8 months later and it just raises the hype for the production of the Iron Lung Movie
Why did it send twice
This song is so underrated! This deserves so much more attention! Definitelly one of my favorite song atm! Such an amazing job!
Masterpiece!
Your channel is terribly underated
I just stumbled upon this and already is obsessed with it
Holyyy, i've heard about iron lungs before but i never play it, this song actually makes me very excited about the game, i absolutely love this song!
Somehow relevant now
Yeah
Amazing song I loved the rap and beats, change from something intense to creepy rhythm!!! 😊😊
How the hell did I only just find this.
Just watched the trailer for the iron lung movie, does feel like this song inspired some of the script for the trailer
That line is from a letter in the game
Not Musiclide nor Mark made it
Dang, I haven't even played the game, but this song has such a unique tone to it that makes me want to try it
It's basically just silence. And if it isn't, you'll wish it was silence.
Yooo this song fire I never even heard of this dude but if he keeps dropping bangers like this ima go crazy over him
Very well done. I listen to this song while I write, and this song persuaded me to get the game for myself.
1:25
Is nobody gonna talk about this shot???
Like DAMN that looks good!
It’s been a couple days since I hearted the comment but thank you! That shot was super fun to put together :D
This song hits different when my dad is driving the car after I just pulled an all-nighter
This is even better than the SCP song.
And I fucking love the SCP song.
Agreed
this is literally the best song i’ve ever heard! the rhythm is amazing and the beat is super good! i found this a day ago and i’ve been listening nonstop from then on!
