Para quienes piensen que solo hay virtuosismo y dificultades técnicas en compositores como Chopin y Liszt, estudien las sonatas de Scarlatti y encontrarán grandes retos en su ejecución. Excelente trabajo!
With this musical example, I am afraid we’ll have to endure some sarcastic lines from our WBMP-friends: «It’s easy to play repetitive notes on a modern piano, but what about a harpsichord?» I can find some examples, a few are close to this speed. If Wim Winters has a point regarding repetitive notes, is it the mechanics that aren’t fast enough, or is it Wim Winters that doesn’t have the playing technique in order? I don’t know, but hope for a clarifying answer. When one reads Wim’s description of his own performance of Chopin opus 10 no 2, he reveais a low level of playing technicality.
Played with so much life, great performance
Well played!
