Great video Sean I managed to cop the red and navy pair! A detail most people are missing is that the NY on the heel on these Supreme SBs is actually a play on the NYC embroidery on the heels of the 1999 NYC dunks. I would like to say that there was word going that they were having production issues with these Supreme SBs hence why their release got delayed and pairs had QC issues including mine
Guess I got lucky, aside from the typical Nike QC issues like frayed leather, bad stitch here and there, I have a weird line going down the quarter panel on the lateral side, kinda looks like a speed bump

the leather definitely was way better than what i see on GR dunks, but not QS quality leather. some minor QC issues but overall these are wayyy better than most other dunk releases. i got the brazil color way and i’m really happy with it
Purple box sb boxes mean it’s a Skate shop exclusive was lucky enough to hit the Brazil colorway which was my preferred cw Qc was kind of disappointing tho this stormtrooper pair was pretty dope too hope they drop a little more so I can pick up a pair
Purple boxes drop at plenty more places than just skate shops. Snkrs, certain retail stores etc. The only true skate shop exclusives are Orange Label. Although this pair was obviously exclusive as well.
I know I'll probably catch a bunch of downvotes for this, but like....reps be making these in SB Lows and using genuine leather: I think it's gonna push me over to the darkside soon lol
Are they called the dunk high OG sb because it’s the same shape as dunk sb highs from the gold box era and before? The swoosh placement being higher and the laces ending in a more narrow position toward the toe box make them look like it. I miss that era and hope they’ll do more soon
@@SeanGo it looks like the materials and presentation on this release didn’t meet expectations but let’s hope they apply more ideas and cool colour ways to this exact shape and drop something really cool soon
@@leighkavan5992 Materials on my Brazil pair are good. Waaaay better than the GRs they're putting out. They're definitely meant to represent the older SBs, that's why they have flat laces as well.
@@Neil-qg9cw ah ok, so they seem to be decent on them. The Brazil colourway is my favourite for sure. The ISO releases seem to have the best that sb has to offer, I got my dark russets today and they are really nice.

My pair QC was so bad on the swoosh, there is a lump like the tip of an otoscope.

Quality aside, this looks sick on foot. Reminds me of the haze dunk.
