Your gardens are stunning!!! The pop of orange is beautiful and should be spreaded throughout your garden. Thank you for sharing a very informative and detailed video. I love it 🌸
I would prune up the holly to look like a tree. It will really open up the space and give more airflow. I personally wouldn't take them out. I treeform my holly bushes, and it requires very little sucker maintenance. Maybe twice a year, I cut off small suckers at the base.
Your flower beds are beautiful. I am gardening again after a few years of really tough times. I absolutely love being out there. Unfortunately it is hot and humid here in Louisiana so it’s mornings and evenings. I have to stay within a tight budget but I am learning from channels like yours and Jess and a couple others. Luckily I already had a couple of beds and some hostas to start with and have gotten so many beautiful plants on the clearance racks at Lowe’s. Just got a mandevilla yesterday. Anyways thanks for sharing.
Hi Kim! I just love your movies and interaction. I personally prefer when shrubs/ trees have space so you can appreciate each specimen. Perhaps just prune all 3 shrubs at the corner to remove weight, then evaluate. ❤😂❤
Kim, a great garden and chat video as always. Love the talking about anything as you garden it’s fun. The Pugster Blue, Primal Scream Daylily and Cantaloupe cone flower what a beautiful combo.
Hi Kim...your gardens are beautiful!! I love the orange and purple combo. I was wondering about the rose that you were trying to manage the long canes with blooms at the very top. I am wondering if it could have Rose rosette disease...it has a ton of thorns but maybe it has always been that thorny? Thanks for sharing!
Absolutely beautiful! I am so inspired-I want to duplicate the orange day lilies and the blue. If you can find the name of the orange day lilies I would appreciate it!
Hey Kim! First off, I love are your videos. I binge-watched all of them and learned so much from you. I now live in zone 9b which used to be 8b. I have a small front garden but hope to add another garden on the sides of my home. Those will have to wait though because our heat in San Antonio/New Braunfels is no joke. I would shape up that holly. It looks like it wants to be pyramidal. Thank you again for sharing your love of gardening.
I’m so inspired. Do you have tour days? I would love to see your garden. I’m in Greenville SC but would definitely make a trip a hit creek side nursery also. Lol
Good morning Kim I’m enjoying looking at your flower garden. Everything looks so nice and lovely. Please ask question for me your sage that looks like Russian sage. Do you fertilize it because, I heard they don’t like to be fertilize and I believe mine needs some fertilizer because they are so slow to grow, this is the second year that I’ve had it. Please what can I do? Thank you.
I have heard no also. However, I did give everything on this side Plant Tone in March. Plus I have good compost on this side. Biotone when planted. I think it depends on what kind you have. I have clay soil. I have the Baby Jean Russian Sage. The Denim and Lace Russian Sage looks very sad in my garden. I’m glad I tried a different variety the 2nd time.
I did everything you said except plant tone in March. I did put compost on them. Maybe it won't hurt to then a little plant tone now. I don't have clay soil, but it's not the best.
I cannot believe the beauty of your gardens!!! They could definitely win first prize!! You definitely have a green thumb❤

Beautiful garden. The orange day lilies are striking with the Punkster Blue Butterfly bush.

I think I missed a video chat with you. We will have to plan it.
You are tougher than me squishing the beetles with your hands. Your garden is amazing.

Thank you Kimmie.
Im sorry to ask , but what is the difference between plant food and fertilizer?
I was thinking the same question. I thought fertilizer equals food 🤔

What zone are you 0:54
Zone 8 Charlotte NC
Yes remove it. Removing will open up the space and make it look airy. If it will make you feel sad prune it
I’m going to try to prune it first. It won’t make me sad. It was left over from the builder. We will see if I Don’t like it might get rid of it.
And what can i do with 💏💏💏that love
