Jeff you're awesome. Watch all your vids and you have been so helpful while I create my wifes service business website. Love your workflow and how you teach. Thank you x10000000!
Thanks Jeff i always love your videos 🙂 just a little suggestion use Custom Content Type not Custom Post Type for this type of content for better performance or we can say best practices
Thanks and really good point! I thought about using a CCT. It is better for performance. But only noticeable if using a high number of posts (for ex over 500 posts). Definitely better practice for larger websites. But it's also a lot more complicated using listings and relations and since many watching this video will be starting out with CPTs and maybe using other CPT plugins like ACF, I thought it's better to keep it simple. For sure, when someone gets better with CPTs, they should start looking at CCTs as they progress.
Crocoblock has too many bugs that mess up standard Elementor widgets' layouts and they never have an ETA for known bugs. Seems like it can be 3-6+ weeks waiting and then having to use old Elementor versions to avoid Crocoblock / Jet Plugin errors ...
@@LytboxStudio Due to the way CCT stores data, the number and type of fields, and the way these fields are used in the frontend, CCT is certainly faster for testimonials.
@@shahanesmaeili great point and true! I went with CPT’s instead because many learning are new to CPTs and using CCTs with relations and listings would have been overly complicated. Also, many people are using ACF, Metabox Lite, and other CPT plugins. The method we’re using in the video can be used with other plugins too. But for anyone who is advanced with Jet Engine, you’re right, CCT is a better method for performance.

@ you’re right it’s good for beginners
@@YasirShabbir easier for beginners but for better optimizations, CCP with JE is the way to go
Thank you! :)
Thanks Lana! 🙏
Thank you so much man! Great tutorial!
I appreciate you thanks!
Good work much needed I am gonna use it.
That’s awesome thanks!
Love the work! Same for Bricks?
A Bricks rut is coming next 😎
How about if I don't want to use a jet engine, can I choose to use ACF or Metabox Lite instead?
Absolutely! It's the same exact process with ACF and Metabox

For testimonials I think is better use CCT not CPT
