You're so great. Bravissimo. I really like the attention to dinamiche (forte, piano, rallentando and so on). Your explaining videos about this piece are just amazing. Please keep sharing your knowledge with us
I've been playing piano for nearly my whole life but I never thought I could play this piece. Your tutorials have inspired me to take this on. Great performance!
This is the most beautiful version of this song ever! Ive been playing this video on loop ever since I discovered your channel haha! I’m so glad you have a tutorial on this piece and can’t wait to try it out.
I am learning this i memorized it pretty quickly but that is the easy part. It is speeding it up that is the hard part. Also, the coda seems easy compared to the other parts.
wow, I randomly stumbled upon your video and your performance is outstanding. How long have you been playing the piano and how long did it take to learn la campanella?
I have the same piano and VST. What settings are you using on garritan? And what sensitivity and volume is the p515 set to? A reply would be greatly appreciated. And excellent performance!
Great performance! I finished grade 8 3 years+ ago and I just got back to piano, how long should I expect myself to play this piece at this standard? Side question: what keyboard is that? Sounds amazing
Thanks! I'm not quite sure how to answer your question, it might depend on how many hours you practice and how effective your practice methods are, as well as which sorts of techniques you are stronger or weaker in. I always find jumps challenging to get accurate, so this piece was pretty tricky for me, but others might find it easier. I spent about 3 months practicing it before I recorded it. The keyboard is a Yamaha P515, but the sound samples are from Garritan CFX. The Yamaha has pretty good onboard sounds too though!
Thanks! Yes, the sound is in real time 🙂. Occasionally some lag will develop but if I close the program and reload it, that usually solves the problem.
@@szilike_10 there may be tutorials available, but it isn’t too complicated. The one I use comes with a computer app that you can use to play it directly, or you can load it as a plug-in from another program. I load it in GarageBand, which I can use for either practicing or recording.
@@NolanMillerPiano hmm, I wonder why mine sounds like I'm in an echo chamber lol; maybe I chose the wrong preset! I'd also read that the 515 has a fairly heavy action but you seemed to breeze right through it without problems!
What a brilliant performance ! Bravo maestro !
What a clean rendition of the classic piece. Bravo!

how is it going so far?
Bravoooo
You could probably even play Liszt’s Lucretia Borgia fantasy
I wasn’t familiar, so I went and listened to it, and, um… I appreciate your confidence but I am not sure I share that confidence! 😅
Wow Spectacular Bravo 🎹 Thanks for sharing friend 🎹

Thanks! I’ve been playing since I was a kid, and I practiced this about three months before recording it.
I have the same piano and VST. What settings are you using on garritan? And what sensitivity and volume is the p515 set to? A reply would be greatly appreciated. And excellent performance!
I am using the default settings on both. I use classic default on Garritan, and the only setting I change is to enable partial pedaling. And thanks!
Great performance!

do you use an electric piano?..what brand of piano do you use?
Yes, Yamaha P515, using sound samples from Garritan CFX.
Wow, such an impressing performance! I never knew how VSTs work, can you make it sound in real time?
Thanks! Yes, the sound is in real time 🙂. Occasionally some lag will develop but if I close the program and reload it, that usually solves the problem.
@@NolanMillerPiano is there any kind of tutorial for setting it up? ia it a complicated process?

Wich piano is this?
I’m using the Yamaha P-515, but with sound samples from Garritan CFX.
@@NolanMillerPiano thank U
@@NolanMillerPiano You don't happen to have the settings you are using for Garritan CFX posted somewhere? it sounds really clean!
@@nethfellearnspiano9655 thanks! I just use the default settings, but I turn on partial pedaling.
