Great video of the Panasonic KX-TGD560 DECT 6 Cordless the Telephone Quadrio with the Speakerphone, the Talking Caller IDs, the Caller IDs & the infamous Digitan Answering Machine, which is the deplorable digitan answering machine which has the unfortunate newer voice the Jordan! I have that same set, except it's the KX-TG3760M the instead.
The manual indicated this too, but this one's actually KX-TG744SK. I can never understand why a speakerphone is designed to output what the same phone's inputting and therefore produce feedback. I think this contributes to the bad pickup, as the feedback is interfering with it. You don't have to cycle through each function in the remote access menu--there's a set of commands in the manual that I listed in the comments on your KX-TG2432 video. Maybe those reviewers don't use speakerphone, or somehow the line makes a difference. The input and output levels of the line can affect how the speakerphone calibrates. I also noticed that the speakerphone button doesn't have orange writing like it does on the KX-TGF models. That and the lack of the message alert calling feature goes to show that this was positioned as an economy set. There's even a non-bluetooth, non-answering system model, KX-TGD51x.
At the end of the day, this is a KX-TGD560. That's the base model number. That's what's listed on sale pages, that's what people see on the botton of the unit, and that's what people are going to search for, not the technicalities of a specific configuration.
This is right up there with AT&T 2.4 Analog levels of terrible, and I thought those were the worst phones ever made. I know manufacturing today is junky and all, but it really is fascinating to see a brand new phone exhibit such abhorrence.
Hard to believe this one is bad considering just a year before, they released the KX-TGC3xx which seemed to be good as evidenced by the initial checkout. That would be an example of one of their good economy models. I guess most of their work went into the higher-end KX-TGF5xx models, so they weren't focused on the quality of the TGD5xx models as much.
Great video Jordan. Also, does the U in your last name stand for unicorn, uniden, or united? If it is not one of those three, please tell the public what it is.
My answering machine on this phone won't work. I've tried pushing the turn on button on the base and on the handset. Is there anything else I can do? Or shall I just punt and buy a new phone? If so, what brand?
@@clockmaker23188 I'd contact Panasonic at that point. I used this set only for a very short period of time, I was not happy with the quality at all. This set is nothing like the Panasonic sets of years past.
Panasonic KX-TGE and KX-TGF models seem to be good phones. Your phone company voicemail, if you have it, might be answering too soon--that's something to be aware of if you have both voicemail and an answering system. There's supposedly a new KX-TGD model coming soon as evidenced by a listing on fccid.io/acj, which hopefully will be better than this one. I would guess they put more effort into the KX-TGE/TGF models, which is why they're better, in addition to them being the higher-end models, and what most people want.
When all the phones were ringing I wondered if the video was shot in a facility for mental health recovery. Then when the Air? kicked in, it sounded like an airport runway.
So do the newer KX-TGEA20s. I have a KX-TGE833 set, very similar to this except the handsets are KX-TGDA52s and not KX-TGDA51s. I later on paired a KX-TGDA51 and a KX-TGEA40 to it, both of those have the same ringtones.
I HAVE USED THESE PHONES FOR YEARS AND HAVE HAD NO PROBLEMS WITH THESE PHONES EVER. I WILL USE NO OTHER PHONE. YOU WILL NOT GO WRONG WITH ANY OF THESE PHONES.
Hi Jordan, great vid. Really helpful. I’m trying to get the third phone of the three phone system to ring ! I can use all three to call, but only two ring. All three are « located » by the base. None have the ringer on silent. All are charged. But one phone simply does not ring.

This is right up there with AT&T 2.4 Analog levels of terrible, and I thought those were the worst phones ever made. I know manufacturing today is junky and all, but it really is fascinating to see a brand new phone exhibit such abhorrence.
The letter H, I have the KX-TG3760M which happens to the have the same the base unit.
I don't think this is even a cheap manufacturing issue--I think this is an engineering issue.

Thanks for letting me know.
@@JordanU No problem
So are you just not a fan of the Panasonic brand? What brands you prefer when it comes to bluetooth cordless phones?
This particular model is junk. They used to make great phones, most of what they make now falls very short of their past reputation.
@@JordanU what is your opinion on the Link2cell feature. Are the calls reliable and clear?
@@djrutherford3926 I've never used it much. I don't see why it would be any different than the landline call clarity.

The talking caller ID on these seem to pronounce words more better than the old voice.
My question is regarding the call waiting display of name or number
